What to expect
Dante's View
A stunning view overlooking the entire Death Valley and previewing what will be explored through the rest of the day.
Zabriskie Point
Unique rock formations reminiscent of the Badlands in South Dakota show us what happens when rain flows over rock for a few thousand years.
Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes
Walk on the largest sand dunes formed in the middle of Death Valley, surrounded by mountains on all side. Just down the road is Furnace Creek, where the worldwide temperature record is consistently set.
Golden Canyon
Hike deep into the canyons as the sun turns them a bright golden. ECA guides will make we are fully prepared for all that Death Valley has to offer, making sure you group hikes safely.
Artists Palette
Layer upon layer of differently colored minerals form a rock formation that would make Bob Ross proud.
Badwater
At 160ft under sea level this is the lowest point in North America and our last daytime stop. Hiking an additional mile into the valley, we will find ourselves amongst unique hexagonal salt flats as the sun sets behind Telescope Peak in front of us.
Death Valley National Park
As we exit the park, we will travel through the incredibly remote southern portion of Death Valley. While it cannot be guaranteed for any trip, should the right conditions exist (no/little moon, no could cover, clear visibility, etc.) we will stop to do astrophotography and stargazing with the Milky Way,
