I purchased small group tour because I expected good guided excursion. Travel with the teenage boy. This is my third tour. I used it with Viator two times prior with my other kids and I absolutely love those tours and amount of the information were provided with the tour guides. Well, for this one we found that Eleanor Roosevelt was a lesbian and this is almost all from Roosevelt memorial. Great information, but I expected something more at least. Tour guide was awesome guy, with the sense of humor, but definitely not on the position he should be. And definitely not for the small group tours where people ready to pay extra to receive more information. Sorry, Viator, gave 2 stars only because the transportation.

Brittany was a fantastic tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, but made it fun and interesting, too. She also did a super job of dealing with a tour group filled with a variety of personalities.

Loved the tour of the Monuments with Nick and our driver (sorry forgot his name). They were quite entertaining with “bad”jokes all day. They grew up in DC, so it was filled with personal anecdotes, and they knew how to navigate/alter our itinerary to avoid delays. Small Tour meant about 16 people. We generally had plenty of time to explore around each memorial. I especially liked the FDR, Lincoln, and Jefferson Memorials. We had great views of the Washington Memorial all day but the only way to go into it is through a timed entry from the NPS. It is the same with the tour of the Capital Building. That is not part of the tour, but we were aware and made the necessary arrangements. Overall a great experience. Only issue was with communication of tour timing between the tour company and Viator. Another couple and ourselves had to catch up to the tour. It was not tour operator’s fault. Just double check..

My husband and I had a wonderful time doing a full day tour from 8:30am to about 4:30pm. We stopped by all the monuments/memorials and also enjoyed a nice cruise on the Potomac River. I was disappointed with the small tour inside the capitol building. Thank you to our tour guide and driver.

depriest2005

I booked a half day private van tour of all the main monuments. Our driver and your guide, Nick, was just amazing!! We booked our tour for Saturdsy Aug 8. He even stopped at a couple extra spots for us. I would definitely book with Nick again!!
