A small and charming country situated between France and Spain is Andorra. It is an independent European principality consisting of a cluster of mountain valleys whose streams unite to form the Valira River. The official language of Andorra is Catalan. Valira Trail
The largest river of Andorra is the Gran Valira. The river flows through the capital of the country Andorra la Vella. It exists the country in the south near Spain Andorra road border crossing. This river system is 35 kilometers long and a tributary to the Segre which in turn is the tributary to the Ebro. It consists of two main branches. Admire the beauty of the river and figure out the history hidden behind it.
Santa Coloma Church
The oldest church of Andorra is the" Church of Santa Coloma d'Andorra" situated in Santa Coloma, Andorra la Vella Parish. This church is more like a heritage property whose nave was built in the 8th or 9th century and the tower is built in the 12th century. The church is very small and is made of stone and we can enjoy a nice mountain view from the church. Admire the beauty of this Romanesque church and its original round tower will amaze you a lot.
