Sun was shining, all of the crew were very friendly.. really enjoyed seeing the dolphins in the wild. Open bar and food was great and loved the banana boat ride.. what a great day!

We had a great day!! The captain did find the dolphins and the experience was a 5 out of 5! So many of them. AMAZING The jet skis were brilliant and well organised and the banana boat is good with young kids as it doesn’t go really fast as pulled by the jet ski, so really good for them to try it out. We got to go in the sea and swim though didn’t get to snorkel as it was a bit rough and needed to hold on the rope. The 3 out of 5 is because the boat did lack in some cleanliness. The toilets were very nasty and the downstairs looked quite unclean. We didnt have the lunch as it didn’t look very appealing so can’t comment. Some chairs were ripped or broken. We did all have a great day. Pick up on time by coach.

So let’s start with the pros - erm. We DID see dolphins, and my young children very much enjoyed jumping in the sea and going on the banana boat (included in the price). As the sea was calm the voyage was relaxing but there were a few bumps! The food was OK, chicken potatoes and salad, nothing Earth shattering but average mass catering and lots of it. Now the cons…. Being made to stand on the dock in the blazing midday sun whilst they faffed around with photos (a money making scheme ) was really unpleasant and the children were really anxious to board. It was a packed voyage and not much space on deck meant that we had to sit in the middle seats, which were rickety and in need of repair. We then sat in the sun for a good 45 minutes before we sailed, having been picked up at 1030 and still not under way by 1245! The drinks were - well, undrinkable. Cheap fake pop, terrible beer and I didn’t even brave the sangria. We drank fizzy water the whole trip apart from the slushies for the kids which cost extra. As for the cups…. I was reminded of the joke about the Ryanair boss in the pub - the beer is 1p but the glass will cost you £3. As if you have to PAY for the cup with which to drink the all inclusive drinks! You have to wonder what they’d have done if I’d produced an empty water bottle. The cost of all the extra water sports was to be anticipated and we didn’t partake, but those who did got minutes only. We didn’t get long swimming before we were ushered back aboard, only to be taken to another harbour to fill time as we were back at Puerto Rico at 330. Not sure how they measured the 4 hour time of the trip but we were not on the water for anywhere near 4 hours. All in all, a disappointing trip which, as fairly seasoned travellers, gets knocked into a coked hat by the multiple other trips we have done.

The trip was a good 5 hour round excursion which was fantastic with plenty of good views and many dolphins as we were lucky. Lunch was decent but not great and the drinks were very good . We paid €52 each which wasn’t too bad. How ever we were promised snorkelling and a swim into the coves and hidden beaches across the coast , which didn’t happen. This really let down the trip as it was a long sail back with little to do if you felt adventurous but didn’t want to buy the extra things to do like jet ski and parasailing. These were expensive and not worth the money as you didn’t get long in them. I wouldn’t do it again because of the expensive price and the lack of things to do, especially as there was no chance to swim in the coves and go snorkelling, just 15 mins in the water and 1 ride of the banana boat

We do not recommend, at all. I originally wrote a review shortly after our abyssmal experience back in December 2022 which had been a dolphin trip for my birthday booked by my husband. I removed that review after we were assured we would get a replacement trip due to the original trip getting cut short by an hour (I have the messages to prove this), the replacement trip was postponed due to something wrong with the boat apparently and it would commence 20th January 2023, all good, we live in Gran Canaria so we were not restricted by being on the island anyway. We were then informed nearer the time that this new trip was now being pushed back yet again and they would contact us when a new trip could be arranged, this was never forthcoming, even though they were taking bookings from people, they would not honour our complimentary trip as promised. Do yourselves a favour and do not book with this lot, they cut our original trip short by an hour as I said and then mucked us about. If you want a nice experience, do not book with this bunch.

I went on this boat numerous times when it was sold as Supercat - a relaxing day sailing along the coast - lunch, drinks, time to swim and the jacuzzi. Unfortunately it seems the boat has changed hands and some bright spark decided to send it out to search for dolphins before sailing along the coast. Clearly just a way of making money as there are numerous boats which already go looking for dolphins. Anyway when I suggested to our group we do this trip for my brother's 40th birthday I wasnt aware of the dolphin search. We spent the worse 2 hours ever in rocky conditions heading out to sea - I believe we were closer to Tenerife than Gran Canaria at one point searching for dolphins, the waves were crashing up the front and side of the boat, the staff were handing out sick bags to everyone. People were begging the staff to just head back to the shore but they said they had to refund everyone on the 2 hour trip if they didnt see dolphins. Eventually we headed back towards Mogan and even though we were meant to stay on for the remainder my brother was so sick at this point we asked to get off the boat. They took us by speedboat to Mogan harbour and we had to find out own way back to Puerto Rico by taxi. My brother spent the rest of the day in bed. I tried complaining to the company who we brought the tickets through and got told it wasnt their issue. You guys should really have stuck to what you were good at. Supercat was a great day trip and its now spoilt.

I would avoid this trip at all costs. We got told we left the port at 10am, we did not leave until at least 11am and we’re expected to sit in the blistering heat. I was really thirsty and as we were told there were drinks on board, I didn’t bring one. My partner went to get me a drink of water and was REFUSED! We later found out this was because they wanted to charge €2 PER CUP! So I was left in the heat without any water for at least an hour until they were prepared to start serving and charging. This was advertised to us as a luxury boat trip and we paid a hefty amount of euros to book it. Everyone below deck was being sick, the food was no good, and the attitude of the skippers was disappointing. Unfortunately, we were sold the dream and it was a nightmare. I had to leave 2 hours early due to these conditions. We saw some dolphins but there was no effort to find any or get any closer whilst other boats were seemingly better. I wish I sailed on the Spirit of the Sea as that seems to be overall a greater experience.

The staff were great and had a good time with great friends. It was a great experience to see a family of dolphins putting on a show. A recommended excersion. Only issue was the timing for the lunch being served just before the water sports activities.

Went on this trip this week 10-04-23. The boat didn't leave until 11am and our operator told us 10.30am. We sailed out into the ocean for about 35 minutes presumably looking for dolphins? There was a PA system but unfortunately it was very muffled and I couldn't understand the man's voice with regards to the itinery for the trip. We got to a standstill and did see some dolphins but by then the catamaran had started rocking and the waves became choppy. We then left the area where we saw the dolphins and headed back to Puerto Rico ( that was the 2 hour trip). This return journey was horrific. The sea was very choppy, people were struggling to stand up and move about. My son was sick as I was several times. We based ourselves downstairs with our heads on the table. Male skippers were laughing and joking and didn't seem in the least concerned about their passengers welfare. Many people downstairs were vomiting also. I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OFF THE VESSELL despite us booking and paying for a 4 hour trip. At NO point was there any APOLOGY for the conditions from the skippers. I CANNOT believe that they did not have prior warning that conditions would be poor and NOT enjoyable for visitors. Captain Sandy appears to have radar which detects bad weather on 'Below deck' so why don't they?? There was no offer of compensation for paying for the 4 hour trip rather than the 2 hour trip due to the weather conditions. Nearly everybody got off after the 2 hours and a little joke about the ride was made by the skippers. Basically the skippers didn't care less about giving customers a great experience and it was CLEARLY ALL ABOUT MONEY MAKING FROM TRUSTING TOURISTS. I HOPE THEY CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT WITH THE SERVICE THEY HAVE PROVIDED.
