    This is NOT what we expected, nor was it anything close to what the description described. While the guide was knowledgeable about Hawaii film-making since he was involved in many movies and shows, only one "set" was visited (Lost). Many locations were pointed out, but simply passed in route to somewhere else. This experience was oversold and too expensive for what was returned.

    This was my first running experience with City Running Tours and I was impressed. I was emailed by Yahnny the run leader, on the day before to confirm the meeting time, the starting location and that we would be doing a warm-up before we started. When we met up and were warming up she checked my level of experience to confirm I was up to the run (I was in training for a marathon at the time). We ran through the suburbs to the back of Diamond Head crater then entered the State Park, across the centre of the crater and to the top of the front of the rim, which overlooks the ocean. The whole park is very striking but the view from the rim out to the ocean and towards Waikiki and Honolulu was stunning. We then did some yoga for 20 minutes or so on a flat concrete area, all the time enjoying the views of the ocean and Waikiki. On the run back the park was starting to get busier with other people which slowed progress a little so I'm glad we'd had an early start (6:15 am) and at least avoided most people on the way out. When we got back to our starting point Yahnny did a whole stretching session and provided a couple of protein bars. Yahnny was great company, knowledgable about the area and a good coach; a couple of days later she emailed me with the photos she'd take on our run, the GPX file and a link to a site which replays your run as as fly-over animated view. I would recommend this running tour to anybody, it's a great way to do an early morning run up Diamond Head and to start your day perfectly. I will certainly look for City Running Tours if I'm visiting other cities so I can run in interesting places with other runners.

    <p>I cannot tell you how glad I am that I did this trip! Yovo, our tour guide, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the island and its landmarks and allowed us to set our own running pace. He picked us up from the hotel, brought fresh fruit and drinks, and allowed us to customize our run. It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!</p>

    Wao, que súper tour, super recomendado. Mi esposa le gusta correr y en el momento que lo vio, era el principal tour que quería hacer en Hawaii, yo estaba un poco aprensivo dado que era nuestra Luna de Miel. Sin embargo no me arrepiento en absoluto en haber tomado el tour. La verdad que las vistas fueron espectaculares y la guía Dianne sobresaliente. Desde que iniciamos fue a un paso ligero para no cansarnos, siempre paraba para tomarnos espectaculares fotos en los lugares y revisaba por si tenemos alguna lesión o dolor. Nos dio unos tips increibles para hacer estiramientos y para correr. Se lo recomiendo a las personas que les guste correr y ver lo impresionante de la naturaleza.

    Near Haleiwa we will visit the main LOST beach set area where Sawyer, Jack and Kate's adventures began. ABC's LOST was filmed here from 2004-2010. Guaranteed to see Turtles swimming by or resting on the beach. Pictures allowed from a distance. We don't disturb the turtles in their natural environment.
