Julian was my tour guide, and was a spectacular learning experience from beginning to end! Julian was very diligent in telling the stories and sharing key details and ensured we saw all of the important artifacts. This was definitely a wonderful way to see the camp and learn so much more of the stories beyond what we have read in the history books.

We had a wonderful knowledgeable tour guide who had a degree in History. Rebecca Bryant. She led us throught this tour with both professionalism and humility for the situation. My daughter and I were off course naturally moved and saddened remembering those innocents cruelly murdered. Rebecca was tollerant as I have a disability and cannot walk long distances, she went ahead and prepared everything, from buses, tubes and food. Most excellent hostess. She should be recognised for the professional job she does. Thankyou Rebecca. Alex & Lucy Parker

I highly recommend this tour. Paul was very knowledgeable and gave us many tips for our Berlin trip in general, including showing us how to navigate the public transport system. This is an important tour that all visitors to Berlin should take the time to do.

So glad we booked the tour rather than visiting Sachsenhausen unguided. Our tour guide Stephen was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly and covered the subject manor with respect. The meetup spot is easy to locate and it is a short train trip out to Oranienburg . From there it is a short walk to Sachsenhausen. On the way interesting spots were pointed out which we would have simply walked past on our own. Sachsenhausen is very large and if we had done it ourselves we would have run out of time to see everything. The tour covers all the main aspects and due to the train schedule you can remain behind after the tour to have a longer look around. Highly recommend and if I am in Berlin again I plan on using Birchy's Berlin tour for the city walking tour.

Paul was a brilliant and knowledgable tour guide and answered all our questions. He was very personable and brilliant at his job. He also directed us to many of Berlin's great shops and restaurants. He saved the day when the trains were cancelled and re-routed us too! Thanks for a great Saturday in Berlin.

An insight into a horrific period of time that the human race created. How could people do this to each other. It was an amazing tour under the circumstances, Paul was a fantastic tour guide, lovely guy who gave us such a knowledgeable account of the camp. Thank you pal for the day. A must do during your visit to Berlin, on a final note the other people on the tour rounded off the day. Thanks again.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Paul Tobin was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. His extra knowledge about other aspects of German politics, society and faith was extremely helpful too. We learnt so much and the whole tour was very interesting. You are definitely missing out if you don't visit and while it was of course a sombre place, it was a good experience. Thank you so much to Birchy Tours and our amaing tour guide Paul!!

This tour put us back in time to a place that makes you remember how easy it is for bad things to happen. Our guide Paul, enlivened the experience with his superior knowledge on the subject. It was a cold day and it was not even a fraction of the pain and suffering that went on at this place. A must visit to remember how close we are to letting fear dictate common sense.
