Rathaus Landshut

The large ballroom was redesigned in a neo-Gothic style in 1878 by the Graz architect, Georg Hauberisser, who also planned the interior of the new town hall in Munich. A circulating painting executed by 4 Munich artists impressively leads back to what was probably the most glorious time in Landshut. It shows the procession with bridal carriages during the Landshut wedding in 1475.

St. Martin's Church

St. Martin is the main church and landmark of Landshut. The late Gothic hall church with the highest brick tower (130.1 meters) in the world is one of the most important sacred buildings in southern Germany due to its dimensions and impressive spatial effect. This impressive church was built from 1389 to 1500.

Landshuter Hochzeit

The wedding between Duke George of Bavaria-Landshut and the Polish king's daughter Hedwig in 1475 was one of the greatest historical celebrations in the Middle Ages. The multi-day, elaborate celebrations have been recorded in great detail by chroniclers.

Stadtresidenz Landshut

The Stadtresidenz Landshut is a palace in the middle of Landshut's old town, which was built under Duke Ludwig X in the years 1536 to 1543 and later used by various nobles for residential purposes. It is generally regarded as the earliest work of High Renaissance architecture north of the Alps to refer to Italian models.
