ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD. NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED! Air Maui will provide a lanyard for passengers cell phone that will be worn around their neck at all times during the flight.
Children must be at least 10 years of age or older to go on doors off. An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old. Only age 16+ can sit on an edge/outside seat.
No hats, bags or any loose items allowed.
Must wear closed toed shoes. No flip-flops or sandals.
Long hair must be tied up in a bun or braid.
Air Maui will provide each passenger a jacket that will be required for all passengers to wear during flight.
Cancellation policy: No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time. For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
Comfort seat charge for one passenger weighing 230lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 400lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 190lbs or more. Any passenger over 250lbs no matter what the combined weight is must purchase a comfort seat due to safety on the doors off flight.
Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.

The pilot was awesome and gave some great history. The only suggestion I would have is to make the outside sitting person feel a little more secure than just a seatbelt. Maybe a shoulder strap or something like a handle to hang onto as it did not feel very secure at all. It probably didn’t help that we had a generously proportioned person in our seating row.

My 13 year old son and I did the doors off tour. The trip was amazing and our pilot, Richie was awesome. He was not only a great pilot, but he was very informative. I will admit, if you are the faint of heart, do the doors on your. I sat on the outside seat and literally was only inches away from the edge. Defiantly intense, but I will admit, it was a bit scary. I would do it again!

We had the most AMAZING experience with Air Maui. First doors off heli tour couldn’t have been any better. From the moment we booked until after we landed we felt very supported and special thanks to the team. They are the only company on Maui with a perfect safety history. I love that they are locally family owned and operated. Our pilot was super calm, funny, experienced and provided lots of interesting narrative along the way. I want to fly with Air Maui on the other islands now! This is a must experience if youre looking for a heli tour in Hawai’i.

Our family of four had an amazing tour with huge thanks to our amazing pilot Vince Carter. At 58 years young, this was by far the coolest thing I've experienced in my lifetime. Vince was incredibly informative throughout our tour of West Maui and Molokai. Between his informative updates he has a playlist in the headsets to put everyone at ease with the likes of Beach Boys' Good Vibrations at take off and Bob Marleys' Everything is Gonna Be Alight while landing. 10 "outta" 5 stars !!! Amazing helicopter trip over the North West shore of Maui and over to Molokai! I got to fly with the doors-off to get great views of waterfalls cascading over some of the world's tallest sea cliffs in addition to a unique aerial view of Nakalele Blowhole. The pilot, Richie, was very knowledgeable and provided informative narration about the sites we were flying over. The office staff was also very friendly and I would absolutely recommend flying with the locally owned and operated AirMaui
