Great day trip from London. Blenheim Castle was amazing and the gardens were superb. We had a beautiful day and sun was shining. Our guide Ursula was terrific and gave us a lot of good information which made it all the more interesting. Downton Abbey village was a bit underwhelming to be honest .

Our guide and bus driver were wonderful. My review is not a reflection of the tour company. The Palace is currently being used to display fashion so all the furniture talked about in the tour and shown in images is missing. The fashion mannequins take over the entire experience in an awful way. This show goes on until June I believe. The village of Downton doesn’t make it worthwhile to do this tour as the bulk of time is in the palace. I’d highly recommend choosing a different experience with the Cotswolds if that’s what you’re interested in seeing. We were very disappointed for the money we spent.

My cousin and I took a day trip with Evan Evans tours. We visited Blenheim Castle, Downton Abbey Village, and a charming village in the Cotswolds. There were only 14 people in our group. Our guide, Andy Jackson was very personable and knowledgeable. Our driver was very nice as well. I highly recommend this tour with Andy.

Eileen was terrific. She was very knowledgeable and funny at the same time! We learned facts about British history and lifestyle! Made it a very enjoyable experience!

Leslie was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and kind - also very professional! At each site she prepared us for all of our needs. She also was a wealth of knowledge and readily shared it's

Loved Downton Village portion. Palace part was taken over by fashion displays and was not interested. More time for gardens.

Allison_L

Loved the trip to the countryside. We especially enjoyed time at Blenheim Palace and a chance to explore Burton on the Water.

Karmany_R

A complete waste of time! We had the worst tour guide, she wouldn’t stop talking, she was on the microphone for the full duration of the trip. Many of us asked her to stop the commentary as it was loud and unnecessary but she just went on. It’s was extremely unpleasant, if I could have found alternative transportation back to central London I would have left the tour. In terms of the places- only Blenheim Palace was good the rest was a complete waste of time. We did not see Cotswold village but rather saw another part of Cotswold. Downtown Abbey we saw a shop and a church- absolute waste of time and money.

Charlotte_C

The schedule was a bit packed. Find it a bit boring in Bampton if you’re not a downtown abbey fan. The other two places are fine, wish we could have more time.
