You are basically paying a considerable amount just to skip the line for a free attraction with a guide…
I made the error of not realising that the tour didn’t include climbing up to the dome - I felt the description in the title was misleading and assumed incorrectly that there was more to the tour
The guide was particularly uninteresting and spoke English in a heavy accent and was very difficult to understand - despite paying to skip the line we still had to wait for around half an hour after the tour started - I realised my error when the tour guide explained that the outside of the cathedral was more fascinating than the inside …
I complained and received a partial refund - to be honest, it should have been a full refund - I do not understand how they can justify £16+ for the attraction
Earlier in the day we had a free tour of the city using FreeTours where you tip the guide at the end - it was fascinating and completely captivating and well worth the tip we gave the guide. The contrast between the two tours was enormous further enforcing our disappointment with this particular tour

Long lines to get inside the Duomo. After waiting and viewing, best choice is to skip waiting for the interior and just enjoy the beautiful marble outside. Recommend San Marco Cathedral in Venice instead of this.

Difficult to find meeting place. Waited around for a very long time. Walked quite far to duomo. Stood on line there again for a very long time. Guide was kind but English was difficult to hear. I don't understand "skip the line" if I waited on line several times.

The Duomo is very special to see, but mostly form the outside. The inside is not as impressing as the outside. However these tickets allowed us to have a guide who could give us some information avout the Duomo, which was very interesting. The process to have access to our tickets to enter the Duomo was pretty easy as well. For those who are interested to visit the Dome of the Duomo, these tickets do not give you this access (seperate tickets, to reserve in advance).

Although it was nice to skip the line, especially because of the heat, this tour was not worth it. We literally moved like 2 feet in 20 minutes. The tour guide was hard to hear as well. I would definitely not recommend paying for the guided tour on this one.
