This hunt was an amazing amount of fun! It took me about 4 hours to complete on my own, but that included several stops to go shopping in the street markets. The clues were just difficult enough to be a challenge. I felt very accomplished when I enjoyed a celebratory pint at the end of my journey!

Did this with friends who live in Edinburgh. We all had a great day, and learnt such a lot and saw parts of Edinburgh not seen before. Good fun and challenging. Met a few groups doing the same which was fun. Have now got the Norwich one to do when same friends visit us.

We did this over 2 afternoons in Edinburgh, and really enjoyed walking around Old Edinburgh, we come from Edinburgh but have not lived here for 47 years, but do visit. I would give it a day, so that you can look at other buildings, monuments when passing, stop over a refreshment, & lunch. Took us a while to get into the clues, but we are not very good at this type of thing, but it got easier to work things out when you got into it, & you also have the additional clues, on the back page if you get stuck. I have already recommended to friends. We met by chance one other couple while doing the Mystery guide, so that was great, they helped us out.

Steeped with history and steps! We took in the sights of Edinburgh and solved the clues taking us up and down the little alleyways, seeing sights that the normal tourist wouldn’t see.

Overall a really good experience. My family and I would maybe argue with the author about some clues being a bit misleading which slowed us down (say a colour described to look for was certainly not correct, and some clues were possible to interpret in more ways, etc.) But besides that, it was fun and we got it all and solved the mystery without checking the answers (although after a much longer time than it probably should've taken). We'd love more of these mysteries for other Scottish cities - if there's more, we'd definitely go for another mystery adventure.

Having done Liverpool we did Edinburgh over 2 days what an absolute fantastic mystery, solved at the end on a cold miserable Sunday, superb clues and irs great there is no time limit, going to do our home town of Leeds next

What an amazing mystery! We went to so many different areas of Edinburgh that we wouldn't have normally seen. There were some tricky clues but plenty of pubs and cafes to sit in to work them out. Also saw others doing the same puzzle. Looking forward to doing more.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and it was great, really learnt some new stuff about Edinburgh and had loads of fun. We did this me mu husband and my step daughter all enjoyed working out the clues for the puzzles. Will defo do another one in a different city.

Absolutely brilliant love these well thought out adventures, also the history that is unveiled at each clue, have done Liverpool last month, next one has to be Leeds, we'll done to those involved with putting them together

The challenge was really good, we loved doing it. Even though we know Edinburgh, we found out lots of interesting information. Was definitely harder when tourists are about - they sit on the things you are looking for! Haha! :-)
