Your Itinerary

Pl. de l'Opéra

Start your journey in the beautiful and chic Latin Quarter at Place de l’Estrapade, where Emily’s apartment is located. Finding an apartment was not an easy task for the protagonist, as it was quite stressful. Her 5th-floor apartment has no elevator, which is pretty common in Paris. Remember the scenes where Emily’s shower breaks and she has to come to her neighbor Gabriel’s place to take a shower.

Palais-Royal

Find a hidden location that not all locals know about. Place de Valois is a secret courtyard situated between the Palais-Royal and the covered passages of the 2nd arrondissement. This is the place where Emily works in her office, above Galerie Patrick Fourtin. Take a chance to look behind the façade of famous places to see some interesting and beautiful sites like that.

Pont des Arts

Reach the famous 1804 bridge, previously known as a love lock bridge because of the multitude of padlocks attached to the bridge to strengthen the love ties. While making love ties stronger, the padlocks did the opposite to the bridge structure, and the city decided to remove all the love locks in 2015. This is the place where Emily has a video call with her boyfriend in Chicago to learn that he can come visit her.

SAS boulangerie moderne Rabineau

Emily got a taste for the French habit of frequenting boulangeries pretty quickly, so her go-to place is located in the 5th arrondissement, not far from her place. Get a chance to taste some delicious pastries and bread as you dive deeper into the show’s vibe.

Jardin du Palais Royal

Get to that small and cozy place in the center of Paris with its own unique atmosphere. Enjoy a great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the capital and have a snack. The place also attracts our protagonist to have a lunch break there, although it is knocked by Mindy, her soon-to-be best friend in Paris. They get acquainted and share their thoughts about life in the French capital.

La Brasserie de l'Isle Saint-Louis

Continue to one of the two natural islands of the Seine River, Ile Saint-Louis, and get to the terrace of La Brasserie de l’Isle Saint-Louis overlooking Notre Dame cathedral. Recall Emily sipping an aperol spritz with that picturesque view.

Jardin du Luxembourg

The Italianate-style 23-hectare park Jardin du Luxembourg attracts a lot of tourists and locals alike to revel in its wonderful atmosphere, sit around the big fountain, and enjoy the fabulous views. One of the most beautiful parks in Paris also attracts Emily for her morning run in the park, where she is listening to a language learning lesson. Such a lovely place to people watch, enjoy the moment, and expand your French vocabulary on the tour.

Trocadero

Stroll around the Trocadero, the best place to see the Eiffel Tower, and get a bunch of amazing pictures for your social networks and for yourself. The square is situated between the Seine River just in front of the Eiffel Tower and Palais de Chaillot. It was in the Palais de Chaillot that the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948. It also holds a party for a new PR firm client in the second episode of the show.

Terra Nera

Located just nearby Emily’s apartment on Place de l’Estrapade, Terra Nara is the place where Emily and Mindy have dinner together to discuss and chat about their reasons for coming to Paris. It was Les Deux Comperes in the show. The real-life bistro is a perfect place to taste some traditional French specialties and national delicacies. Remember a scene with a steak return to have it better cooked, but it is her downstairs neighbor who works as a chef there.

Place du Pantheon

Discover the next landmark of the Latin Quarter, which was called so because in the Middle Ages, the students of Sorbonne University used to talk to each other in Latin. Initially planned as a church during the times of the French Revolution, it was transformed into a mausoleum for the late distinguished French citizens. This is where Emily breaks up with her nondescript Chicago boyfriend over a phone call.

Palais de l'Élysée

Take a look at the official residence of the president of France in Paris and be fascinated by the architecture. The Élysée Palace was erected in 1722, and it has 350 rooms for different purposes. The palace is only open to the public on some special days. If you remember the show, you can recognize that place from the scene where Brigitte Macron discovers Emily’s latest marketing campaign.

Pont Alexandre III

Get to see the most beautiful bridge in Paris, constructed between 1896 and 1900 having been one of the iconic landmarks in Paris ever since then. Explore the reach ornaments and fascinating details of Beaux-Arts style. The bridge is famous for its four columns with golden statues of Fames, lamps, and golden highlights. The place was shot in the show as a scene for a perfume ad campaign in the 3rd episode.

Le Grand Véfour

Stroll to the 1st arrondissement to see one of the most famous and luxurious restaurants in Paris, Le Grand Vefour, that was featured in other movies like Midnight in Paris. In our show, Emily tries to book a place in the restaurant, but the plan doesn’t go smoothly, and she and her colleagues decide to go to Terra Nera, where her neighbor Gabriel is the chef.

Palais Garnier

Recalling the Emily opera scenes and her breakup just before the show begins. Make your way to the Paris Opera House at Palais Garnier, near Galeries Lafayette. Marvel at the gorgeous Beaux Arts building, erected in 1875. This is one of the most famous and significant opera theaters in the world.

La Maison Rose

Although Emily’s activities are centered around the central arrondissements of Paris, she sometimes goes beyond single-digit districts, for example, Montmartre. The area is famous for its art and nice old vibes. Get to see one of the backdrops there, which is La Maison Rose, an illustrious café and bistro, an instagrammable spot in a very special and cozy ambience. In the show, Emily hangs out there with her friend Mindy. Café de Flore

See another café featured in Emily in Paris. Café de Flore dates back to the 19th century, so don’t lose a chance to dine at this unique place with old traditions and great food. You can recognize this place from the scene where Emily meets Professor Thomas.

Canal Saint-Martin

Stroll along the Canal Saint Martin in the 10th arrondissement, a picturesque canal with a plethora of boutiques and eateries. The place is not so popular with tourists compared to others but is a go-to place for locals to have lunch, chat, people-watch, and reflect. Recognize some places where Emily and her Parisian friends go out in the movie.

Les Pavillons de Bercy - Musée des Arts Forains

Take an opportunity to visit one of the most entertaining museums in Paris, the Mudee des Arts Forains, a fairground museum situated in the 12th arrondissement near Bercy Village. The museum houses all types of vintage and historical fairground rides, carousels, and other amusements.

Monnaie de Paris

The oldest state facility, founded in 864, is the Monnaie de Paris, or the Mint of Paris. The Mint produces the coins in Paris and is the oldest active mint in the whole world. At present, a part of the building houses a museum that demonstrates exhibitions about the monetary history of Paris.

Atelier des Lumières

Even if you’re not into museums and usually find them boring, this one will make you change your mind with its interactive exhibitions. A former abandoned factory is now a peculiar art space that gives visitors opportunities to enjoy interactive paintings by prominent artists like Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso, and others. Emily also decides to visit the installations with her friends.

Le Café Marly

Visit a lovely place to have a business lunch, which Emily does with her boss in the show. Remember the scene while diving into the ambience of the café used as a backdrop, and find yourself thinking about the messy love triangle Emily found herself in.

La Nouvelle Ève

One more place in Montmartre creative district is waiting for you. Nouvelle Eve Cabaret is one of the oldest cabarets in Paris and is one of many interesting sites in the 18th arrondissement. The place is where Mindy tried to start her singing career performing on stage. See the nice location and follow in the footsteps of the show's characters.

Gare de Lyon

The actual scenes of the station were shot in Gare de l’Est, the scenes where Emily wants to take a trip to the French Riviera with Mathieu. They filmed an overnight Pullman Train that arrives at Villefranche-sur-Mer train station.

Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel

The hotel where Emily stays is the incarnation of charm and luxury on the French Riviera. The hotel was opened in 1908 and has been a popular place for the rich and famous to stay. With a great environment of pine forests and the sea, that place boasts an exquisite and fabulous atmosphere of relaxation and chic.

Hammam de la Grande Mosquée de Paris

Explore one of the largest mosques in France, the Grand Mosque in the 5th arrondissement (Latin Quarter). The mosque is almost a century old as it was built in 1926. Being a great example of Late Modern architecture, the mosque is a fascinating landmark for architecture and design lovers. Apart from the real mosque, there are tea rooms, a school, a library, a conference hall, and a restaurant.

Passage Choiseul

Take a walk through the covered Passage Choiseul, a precursor to modern shopping malls erected between the 18th and 19th centuries. Now it is packed with dining opportunities and boutiques. Emily is going through that passage while receiving birthday messages.

Cimetière du Père-Lachaise

Pere Lachaise Cemetery is the place where Luc takes Emily for lunch on her birthday. This is the largest cemetery in Paris and one of the largest open-air museums of tombstone sculpture, covering about 48 hectares. The cemetery attracts millions of people each year, who go there to see works of sculpture and the tombstones of prominent people buried there. Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Frederic Chopin, Georges Bizet, and others found their last resort there.

Le marché couvert Beauvau

Find yourself at a local Marche d’Aligre market in the 12th arrondissement. The market is a perfect place to buy fresh local produce and serve a nice dinner for your guests, which is why the protagonists of the show go there for. After Gabriel gets to know about Emily’s plans to serve her guests reheated frozen meals, he helps her change her mind, and they head to the market.

La Samaritaine

Catch your doze of luxurious shopping as you navigate through the boutiques of one of the largest department stores in Paris. La Samaritaine, founded by Ernest Cognacq in 1870, welcomes everyone with its chic and fashion capital’s vibe. Emily goes there to meet her classmate Petra, and they go shopping together.

Fontaine Saint-Michel

Fontaine Saint Michel is not something to miss in the 6th arrondissement. Standing on the corner of Boulevard Saint-Michel and Rue Danton, the place is a great stage for Mindy’s first busking. Be impressed by the majestic beauty and power of the fountain, a true symbol of the Latin Quarter and its iconic landmark. It was opened in 1860, and it is 23 meters tall and 15 meters wide. Throw a coin and make a wish to come back here again one day.

Galeries Lafayette | Rooftop

Admire one of the best panoramic views of Paris from the Galeries Lafayette rooftop terrace in the 9th arrondissement. Take a chance to capture magnificent views and see the city from another perspective. Enjoy many of the major city sites from the rooftops. The show takes us to the rooftop for a brief scene with Camille and Emily having lunch there.

Eiffel Tower

The highest spot from which you can overlook the city is sure to be the Eiffel Tower. The most popular tourist attraction, it receives millions of tourists who are eager to see a bird's-eye perspective of the capital of France from a 300-meter-high iron spire. Soak in breathtaking views from the top and finish your tour by remembering a scene from the show where Emily attends a part at the top of the tower.
