Marta was an excellent guide! Its definitely a lot of work but felt like a great accomplishment at the end. They also do a go great job of taking a ton of pictures and send to you afterwards.

Amazing experience it is a must do. Petter Noah and Johnny are very kind, fun amd experienced. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back and do it again I definitely recommend it

Great experience! Many thanks to our guides were Marcus and Sergio! 🙂 They were a lot of fun and made us feel comfortable and safe. They took some great photos on the way round too which is so good to look back on! The route was fairly easy (level one) but still beautiful! Gorgeous waterfalls and greenery. We are so glad we did this trip!

Where to start. We kind of accidentally met when we where waiting for another activity. I thought they said kajakking, which is not the same as canyoning for those who didn't know. Long story short, when we left the harbor to drive up to the mountains I've got a little hunch that we might not be in the right place. But they were so kind and friendly, they had the situation quickly sorted out and we even got a ride back to Funchal after they completely unnecessary apologised for my own stupidity. We had already so much fun that we decided to go Canyoning with them the next day. It was amezing! The instructions were clear and simple. They really made it into a whole group experience where we helped and laughed with everyone and even made some really nice photos, I did not expect that at all but turned out so fun. We walked and climbed through a beautiful river, which already is cool enough. But actually going down those waterfalls and jump in the waters makes it a true adventure. With the only downside that it had to end. Afterwards we talked about some recommendations for our holiday, they told us about some hikes, which turned out to be the most beautifull one we've done during our stay. And told us to just app if we wanted to know anything at all. (One of the guys also gives tours with an jeep through madeira wilds, remote Madeira, which sounded and looked very cool to but did unfortunately had no time for, so definitely next time) Anyways, is was a really fun and cool activity we deeply enjoyed! Definitely recommend!

Im really glad I tried this one. It was fun, exciting and this is the only way to explore canyon river close. Markus and Sergio are super professionals and great guys. We also have a fantastic group.

That trip was EPIC!!! We loved it. Our guides Augusto, Sergio and Marcos were brilliant and helpful. One person on our trip could not swim and they helped her in parts. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m over 50 so I would recommend this trip for all ages. First time absailing and I felt very safe. Thank you.

We hiked through cold rivers, slide on rocks, rappelled down 4 to 5 waterfalls of different heights. Bring a sense of adventure. Martha and Sergio were great guides. Had a blast. Not for faint of heart imo.

One of our best memories from the trip to Madeira! The guides were fantastic and did a great job! The canyon scenery was gorgeous and this is a unique way to see more of Madeira.

What a great adventure! Abel was an excellent guide. We always felt safe with his instructions. You definitely need a decent level of fitness to do this excursion. The rappelling isn't too difficult but it's the walking/climbing over rocks and in the rivers that takes more effort. There was a lot of laughs and cheering for one another. It was all that I had hoped for on an epic adventure!

We (family of 4, with a 9 and 12 year old) did 3 days with Epic whilst in Maderia- canyoning, climbing and coasteering. All three days were amazing. The guides were all fantastic and made us feel very safe but also lots of fun. Our children had the best time and have made the most amazing memories. Thank you Epic!
