I wanted to visit this site for 50 years and finally got here. Tour was very disappointing. Guide kept info very general. No in depth understanding of the history. No mention of significant Jewish history, Jewish quarter. Felt like we were being herded. Disappointing. Alhambra guide used headsets. Again very general, more about architecture, nothing about the Jews or their part in the court. No signage about the different rulers or even mention of agreement given to Columbus to sail to Americas. Magnificent architecture and gardens. Really beautiful place

I took a drive from Malaga to Alhambra and at firs it was a bit unsettling as the driver was over 30 minutes later . He drove safely and was friendly and took me to Alhambra as requested. After my solo visit of ALHAMBRA which blew my mind away, he showed me some special spots for some special vistas, and gave me a little tour of the city. I was already a bit tired from the trip and 3 hours walking in Alhambra so I needed to sit down and have something to eat as it was already 16:00 . So we managed to arrange for that and after he dropped me near the hotel where I was going to stay. It was a great day!

This was the best tour of a 2 week vacation with my wife. Joaquin was our guide for the day and could not have been a better person to show us Granada and all its treasures. Thank you for all you did Joaquin in making our very full day a day to remember. Will find you when we come back to Malaga.... (the Waikiki of the Spanish coast) 😊

We booked this tour and ended up being the only two people in the group. So, our driver arrived at the hotel to pick us up (he was on time) and he loaded us into his personal car and he drove us to Granada. We started by doing Albaycin first (unlike what the tour description says), so we walked through the city and had lunch. I invited our driver to eat with us and bought his lunch. Then it was off to Alhambra which is very beautiful. Our driver brought us to the entrance and walked in to get our tickets for us. It's a timed entrance, so they tell you what time to be at the entrance. We were able to walk the grounds for about an hour before that and see lots of great things. We were on our own to walk through the rest of the tour and then we met our driver for the departure home. All in all, it was a very worthwhile tour. I will say that our driver was very pleasant but he didn't offer a whole lot of commentary for us to explain the area or history. For the price of this tour I would have expected a bit more "color" commentary, but I wouldn't pass on this tour regardless. We enjoyed it.

Picked up at our hotel and had a pleasant ride to Granada. Joaquin showed us around the town and took us to a local place for an excellent lunch. Took us to the Alhambra and dropped us off and we have a good amount of time to explore this fabulous place. Safe and good trip back to our hotel.

We took the tour from Marriott Marbella Resort. Tour guide was very knowledgeable the history and detail about the Alhambra Palace. We love the tour specially the pick up was from the Marriott Resort and not from the Marbella City Center. Tour include a free time in the Granada City center where we did lunch and shopping. Great tour.

My husband and I were very disappointed in this tour. We paid for a private guided tour and were very surprised and unhappy when the tour guide told us he would not be accompanying us into the Alhambra and that we would be on our own to get around and explore . He explained that we needed to get on the line for the Palace tour by noon, the time on our tickets and how to get there within the large complex grounds. Because the guide was late picking us in Malaga, we had to rush to find the line for the palace tour and got confused and lost. Bottom line, we missed the time on our tickets and the highlight of visiting Granada. Our guide tried to get us in, but we were told multiple times, by multiple people that it "was not possible". Needless to say we were very disappointed. As this was a private tour we paid a great deal of money and did not get what we expected To the credit of the tour guide, he took us of a lovely tour of the rest of Granada and got us safely back to our hotel. This was our only glitch in an otherwise perfect 2 week independent tour of Spain.

We had a wonderful driver/guide to take us to Granada from Malaga. Joachim was very knowledgeable about Granada and the surroundings. We even enjoyed a surprise visit to the home of Max Moreau, a typical Carmen home in Granada. We could only have had a better time if the weather was better. It was pouring rain at the time.
