Your Itinerary

Leaning Tower of Pisa

First, your driver will suggest that you visit Pisa. On arrival, you will have about 45 minutes to take photos of the city’s UNESCO-listed Leaning Tower (from outside), and take in the sights around the Piazza dei Miracoli, the square that surrounds it.

Piazza dei Miracoli

Strolling around the square!

Piazzale Michelangelo

Arriving in Florence, beautiful Renaissance city, after a roughly 1-hour drive. Once here first stop will be Piazzale Michelangelo for stunning views over the city’s skyline

Piazza della Signoria

Piazza della Signoria: it is located halfway between the Duomo and the River Arno and represents, together with the Palace of the same name, the heart of Florence political life; the Square is L-shaped and is the result of different architectural interventions as well as the place where every day, thousands of tourists meet to visit the Uffizi Gallery, the Fountain of Neptune, the Loggia della Signoria and that centuries-old Palace of course.

Ponte Vecchio

The Ponte Vecchio: ("Old Bridge") is a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River, in Florence, noted for still having shops built along it, as was once common. Butchers initially occupied the shops. The present tenants are jewelers, art dealers and souvenir sellers.

Galleria dell'Accademia

The Academy Gallery (Galleria dell’Accademia) in Florence today retains some of the most beautiful works of Michelangelo. Skip-The-Line Entrance Tickets Included only in Private Option Tour. First of all the statue of David (1501), symbol of Florence in the world and masterpiece of the Renaissance, carried in these areas in 1873 to protect it from the weather. With its beauty and strength the David symbolizes the power and freedom of the Florentine Republic, embodied by the Palazzo Vecchio, in front of which the statue was originally placed.

Mercato Centrale

Break for lunch (own expense) at a restaurant of your choice or our suggestion. Afterward, take a walk around the Florence's bustling Central Market (better known in Florence as the "Mercato Centrale") a fascinating place to visit, especially for foodies.

Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore

Florence's Duomo (from outside) is the city's most iconic landmark. Capped by Filippo Brunelleschi's red-tiled cupola, it's a staggering construction whose breathtaking pink, white and green marble facade and graceful campanile dominate the Renaissance cityscape. Senese architect Arnolfo di Cambio began work on it in 1296, but construction took almost 150 years and it wasn't consecrated until 1436.

Campanile di Giotto

The Campanile is a splendid example of Florentine Gothic architecture from the 1300’s (from outside).

Basilica of Santa Croce

The Basilica shelters the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli, and Galileo and it is also known for its frescoes by masters such as Giotto. Piazza Santa Croce is one of the main squares located in the central neighborhood of Florence with the famous Leather Market. It is located near Piazza della Signoria and the National Central Library.
