    This was a long day, but well paced. Our guide was a resident of Capri and was able to secure one of the first boats to the blue grotto and a quick tradition to the smaller boat that takes you inside. As the wait there can be a couple of hours or more, this was a fantastic perk! She provided a lot of history and current knowledge of Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii. Since we were staying in Naples rather than docking from a cruise ship, the driver was kind enough to return us to the hotel rather than the port where we would then have to taxi the rest of the way. Was a good mix of guided tour and free time to explore on our own. If I were to make any changes, I would propose more time spent in Pompeii, but as the last stop in the afternoon, our energy was getting low.

    We booked this tour with "Tours of Capri." We have worked with Cristina in the past and this company is the best to work with. Our Guide was Giorgio, who lives right on the island of Ana Capri. He was waiting for us at the port and was highly respectful of my sister-in-law on a walker. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and pleasant. There is nothing like a guide who lives right on the island you are touring. He walked with us, ate with us, and ensured we enjoyed our day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone traveling to Capri, Ana capri. You will not be disappointed.

    Pompeii

    The town of ancient ruins with historical sites and stories around every corner. Pompeii, is the most compelling and best preserved archaeological site in the continent. Take a trip to the past, as you walk the same path walked by the Ancient Pompeians at the rise of the Roman Empire visiting the infamous Lupanare and the center of the political life of the ancient Pompeii, the monumental Roman Forum. Also expect to see the traditional thermal baths, where the Pompeians not only bathed but frequently visited for scandalous activities.
