First of all the good parts. Max, our guide, was a pleasure to spend a day with, the car was clean and comfortable, he was punctual and he went more than the extra kilometer in taking us to Bagnoregio, the birthplace of St Bonaventure. However we were under the impression that we were getting a guide who would accompany us to the sights and explain what we were seeing with a theological bent, this we did not get. What we got was a very pleasant driver who dropped us at the sights, told us what to look for then arranged a time for pick up to move on to the next sight. Except for Bagnoregio we were never accompanied into any of the sights. It is my opinion that Viator should make it clear that we were getting a driver, not a guide
