What to expect
Charlotte Square
Before commencing the tour, your private guide will explain why Charlotte Square is the most elegant and desirable area of the New Town of Edinburgh.
10 minutes
Dean Village
Your guide will take you on a short loop through the Dean Village and over the Water of Leith, explaining how the area evolved over the centuries.
15 minutes
Stockbridge
We will follow the Water of Leith walkway via St Bernard's Well and on to Stockbridge. Once at Stockbridge we will make our way to the beautiful hidden gem that is Circus Lane. Comparable with a cozy little village lane in the heart of the city.
10 minutes
Princes Street and Gardens
We will walk through the perfectly manicured gardens sitting below the towering Edinburgh Castle. This is the ideal opportunity for that perfect picture of the Castle and the surrounding area.
Saint Andrew Square
We briefly stop in this area to discover the earliest buildings to be built here in the New Town.

Old Calton Burial Ground
Discover which of Edinburgh's former famous inhabitants are buried here.

Calton Hill
Calton Hill has without doubt some of the best views of Edinburgh's Old AND New Town, so get your cameras read. Your guide will tell you about the different monuments and memorials located on this unique vantage point.
