We were a party of three going om this trip. We went with a mini van with another couple. Plenty of space. The driver Emanuelle and the guide Maria Luisa did a very good job together. Together we decided to stay longer in Taormina and a shorter period of time at Etna, it was chilly in October! We were very satisfied with our trip.

No critical remarks about our guide and logistics (pickup, etc.). It was absolutely OK. However, the value for money can be questioned. I was picked up from Syracuse at 7:30 am and was transported back to my hotel around 7:00 pm. Out of this only 1.5 hours on Etna parking 2000 m above sea level and łess than 2 hours in Taormina center. The remaining 8 hours I spent in the bus.or in the car.

Really great experience - liked the tour guide in Taormina and overall an interesting day out. It was good to see both places in one day. Quite a lot of travelling in one day from Syracuse area but was good to see.

Really well organised trip to see Etna and Taormina accompanied by a really knowledgeable and helpful guide. We also had plenty of time to explore both places on our own. A memorable day!

We had a lovely excursion to Etna and Taormina on our trip to Sicily, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable with lots of interesting facts to tell us, he also had a great sense of humour and made us laugh lots

it was very windy, and raining hard. We could not get to the bus to have shelter, as the driver was having his lunch time

Nino and Eleanor were great! The trip was great! We noticed that here in Sicily everything is late (especially public transport), but tour operator picked us up on time! Also, we were waiting for two people on Etna for 45 minutes, it is not operator's mistake but if I was asked I would left them there. They didn't even apologize to the people in the bus.

Great day trip. Well paced, value for money, lots of good commentary en route. Long day 11 hours. The guide who accompanied us was very helpful and informative. We really enjoyed our day out.

Being the only English guests on the trip, we were seated at the front of the bus so we could receive personal commentary from our guide. Once in Taormina we were given our own guide to walk around the city. It was a pleasant day trip, well organised with sufficient timings at each stop. The stop at the honey/farm shop was a bit chaotic given the lack of social distancing and our guide did take this up with the venue, however they said they have many bus trips visiting daily and cannot control the flow of people coming and going… a bit of a Covid nightmare to be honest, so mask up and take your sanitiser with you if you go in. Etna was stunning, moonlike and quite a spectacle. It was advertised as a three hour visit to the volcano but ended up being two hours so people could not really go up in the cable car. The guide however gave us good commentary about the volcano, living life around the volcano and details of all the eruptions over the last few hundred years. He also showed us and the rest of our fellow day trippers photos and videos from recent volcanic activity. The trip was well priced, you won’t be disappointed. (It’s a long day 11 hours). We really enjoyed ourselves.
