Carrousel de Menton

As an appetizer, the first stop is about tasting olive oils, vinager and pistacchio cream! The region of Menton and all of Provence are full of olive trees that are used to make delicious olive oils, which are often infused with different flavors such as lemon, basil or truffle. We will taste some of them as well as the special vinager flavored with the lemon of Menton. We will also taste the pistachio cream that is currently made in Italy but that will be soon re-introduced in Provence, as it used to be.

Discover and wander in the hall market's place of Menton that is full of local fruits and vegetables! Can you see the delightful zucchini and tomatoes we talked about, just before, while tasting pichade and foccacia?

Plage des Sablettes

The 3rd stop will take us to Plage des Sablettes where many restaurants of Menton settled to offer both a great view at the Sea and delightful dishes. We will sit around a table of famous chef Maoro Calogreco's restaurant and will taste Italian cheese and charcuterie while tasting Provençal wine. Such a nice time!

Patricia was fantastic and not only brought us all over the town but also gave us lots of history. Also lots of recommendations where to get gifts. Do this tour on your first day so you know the whole town. And Patricia was an expert. You need to use her!!

Our host was keen to show us the variety and history of each product and it was an extremely enjoyable morning with the opportunity to meet people and enjoy discussions with them in a light hearted or more serious way. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A must do in Menton!!! Do at the very beginning of your trip Menton/Nice. A great introduction to all the local delicacies! Starts in the market, stops in 3-4 restaurants/wine bars/bakeries. Ends with limoncello, what could be better? Patricia is personable, very friendly and knowledgeable, and she gives you all the best restaurants/market booths, etc. You also see some beautiful sites of Menton, all while enjoying lunch through many tastes. If you are a foodie, or a newbie to local food, she will adjust for the group. Fantastic for a group of friends, co-workers, etc. Book it!!

Patricia was a wonderful guide in menton and the food tour was authentic, personalized and fun! It was my husband and I with our 7 month old baby and she was so kind and accommodating. We were even 30 minutes late due to an event going on in Monaco we weren’t aware of and because we were the only ones that day completely accommodated and just started late. Can’t recommend her enough!!

We had a wonderful tour and learned about the area while sampling delicious food and wine. Patricia was terrific! She was so nice, well-spoken, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend!
