We did the tour of Alfama with telma, and it was wonderful! She took us to both the more touristy main sights, but also to the more authentic feeling Alfama neighborhoods. She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area, which made the tour very good. Telma, if you're looking for a third and fourth roommate, Brad and Amy are interested!

We took part in the Old Town Alfama Tour with Telma. It was fantastic! We started at 16:00 which was perfect as it was no longer too hot. Telma navigated us through the beautiful old town and made it come alive through all the interesting historic background information, stories and tales that she told very enthusiastically but easy to follow. Thanks! We can only recommend the tour and guide!

We did two tours while in Lisbon and both Elena and Telma were great ambassadors of the city - their knowledge and friendliness made the tours well worth it. If we could have adopted and brought the girls home we would have We easily picked the tours up on the fly by looking for the blue umbrellas. We took the "free tour" with Elena and then the Alfama tour with Telma. If we were staying another day we would have taken the Belem tour. Thanks Blue Emotion Tours

I tried first the city walking tour with Blueemotion and then the tour-guide, Elena’s presentation was so impressive that I decided to do Alfama tour in the afternoon too. She is so enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. She takes you to both well-known places, as well as some hidden details you would not come across on your own. Her energy and the way she narrates the history keeps you up until the end of a long walk in the steep streets of Lisbon. I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this walking tour due to the energetic spirit of our tour guide (Elena). Alfama was a really nice place to wander around. Bluemotion this a good job and submerged me in all the details and history of the locality.

We found this company flier in the tourist information and decided to try the free City walking tour. The guide, Telma was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and really gave us a taste for the main sites of the city. Her English was excellent despite it not being her mother tongue. We were so impressed by the quality of the tour, so we did the alfama tour in the after noon which was also excellent despite us being only 2 people. We were exhausted at the end, but you can't blame the hills on the tour guide. Bring trainers.. Generally Highly recommended and going to do the Belem tour with them tommorrow

Booked and paid for the 1600hrs Alfama tour. Planned our day around it. Arrived in plenty of time but couldn’t find our blue umbrella......but lots of blue umbrellas advertising “free tour”, which presumably wasn’t ours.......wrong. After asking other guides we found the right person (1605hrs), who very cheerfully told us the tour had been cancelled ‘cos not enough people as she had already turned away the other couple, ‘cos we were late. Money refunded but get the distinct impression she was looking to cancel the tour as not worth her while for 4 people/ not enough in gratuities. Not the end of the world but wouldn’t ever risk booking with Blue Emotion again. Other companies have asked for contact details, and on the one occasion we were late, the guide contacted us to see if we were ok. ADVICE....look for blue umbrellas that advertise “free tours” and cross your fingers you don’t get our unprofessional guide. Good luck!......and remember there are other companies out there.........

It was our very first time in Lisbon and Elena was our guide. Right away we were very impressed by her enthusiasm and passion for Lisbon. She clearly knows a lot about the city and has a natural talent to explain and talk to people to share her knowledge. Loved it and would highly recommend her if you are looking to spend a few hours with a tour guide while in Lisbon.

Elena skilfully guided us through the old quarter of Lisbon with good knowledge and contagious enthousiasm. The tour went from one interesting story to the next, and one stunning view to the next. There's a few rather steep hills to be walked, but there is enough time to do them at a calm pace. The tour is well paced to avoid information overload. In my opinion it's perfect to get an overview of the area before doing some further exploring yourself afterwards. After the tour, Elena was so kind as to advise us a few interesting places to visit and have food and that was great.
