Leiveira Azulejos

Azulejos de Azeitão uses traditional European tile manufacturing methods and reproduces ancient designs, not only from European countries, but also Islamic and Chinese. We create hand-painted flat tiles and also relief tiles with glazes of different colors, in the style of Spanish-Moorish tiles from the 16th century. All of our tiles are made to order, so we can give our customers flexibility in size, colors and design. Here on these pages are just some of the designs we have chosen to reproduce. However, we have an extensive library with books on tiles and other ceramics, which we use as a reference when we need to find additional images to copy.

The tour was ok definitely not worth the money. Not sure if the guide was in a rush but we started at 9:30 ended at 3:00/3:30. That is not 8 hours which is what we paid for. We also did not go into the fishing village or stop to get lunch. The first vineyard was the best part. Would not recommend
