Everything was perfect with Tobogã. Since the booking until the way back to the hotel. I requested the transfer from Porto and the transport was on time and super smooth. Getting to Geres, we get all the equipment, have a briefing and go back to the van to the starting point. During the experience, the guides made sure we get all the equipment set up correctly and listened to the safety instructions. They would answer every question and repeat the instructions/tips as many times as needed so we perform every moment in the best and safest way. I felt very safe in every step of the way and everyone in the group had their special moment to feel everything. The photo coverage was a great memory!! It was my first time doing this kind of activity, so i highly recommend if you want some adventure, but also being sure you are in a safe environment, because tobogã really aims for apllying all safety measures.

Simply a "must do" if you even get near Porto! 4 adults, 3 kids (ages 12-14) had a blast! Safe, fun, adventurous and like nothing you have ever tried before! It does NOT depend on the weather as the wet suits are needed no matter the time of year. Sincerely, was one of the really memorable days we had in Portugal this past summer. The team of guides are amazing and emphasize safety and fun.

A well organised tour with top notch equipment and guided by an enthusiastic team. During the trip our guide and his trusty sidekick, Miguel & Jorge, made sure both my son and myself had continuous fun and felt save with all activities. Everything is well explained and there was no pressure what so ever. “Plan P” never had to be executed 😉. So if you are looking for some activity instead of laying in the sun all day, this is definitely worth considering. @Miguel&Jorge: thanks again for the wonderful experience and the pictures!

Manuel was so patient with our group, ages 10 to 58. Manuel adjusted the pace of the trip for the older folks, and personalized instructions to guests depending on how confident & skilled they were on ropes challenges. The trip had 3+ jumps and 2 repels. I wish I knew the heights of the jumps in advance, because one rock jump was higher than my comfort level. The scenery was amazing, I had to remember to look back where I came from and not just look forward to capture the views. Ample time to relax in pools and take in scenic nature, waiting for rest of group to repel and/or jump. The built in waiting time was needed, because even a fit 50 year old will be exhausted at end of tour. I cannot wait to canyon again. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Northern Portugal.

10 lads on a stag do from England went canyoning today, wow what an experience! The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They couldn’t have done anything more to make our experience any better! They picked us up from our hotel In Porto and drove us to the centre. We passed a great day of canyoning as a family with a 9 year old daughter. The guide Miguel was very friendly and professional. He took very good care of our daughter (and everybody else :)) allowing everybody to enjoy the trip. For parents with kids that are considering this trip: definitely doable for kids. Our daughter did better than some adults - so it's not really about the age or strength but more about trust in the guide.
