Was an awesome day , very convenient instead of going alone. We had an hot guide and driver which was really good. You should be in some shape but the hike is not too hard.

Awesome experience. Taking the 4x4 allowed us to have a great levadas walk and fountain experience without the crowds. Also included a very cool trek through a 800m tunnel requiring flashlights. Took us to lunch after at the Jungle Rain, (get the skewers) then through ‘short cuts! that were off the beaten path and very fun. Highly recommend Gil Sousa as your guide. Super knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very efficient with our time. If we were done and ready to move on he was ready to go.

Very enjoyable and fun day. As well as being a knowledgeable guide, Gill gave us a great sense of what life on Madeira is like. You don't need to be super fit to manage the walk. You will get your feet wet in the tunnel, so wear appropriate shoes. It is a very social day too.

Great value trip with guided walk, some thrilling off road jeep driving, lunch stop and a final stop at the sky walk. Robert our guide and driver was very informative, the walk itself is not too strenuous for anyone with any concerns on that front. It’s more of a gentle stroll with a few steps. Lunch at the Jungle Rain cafe was fun - feel like the place has seen better days, but the portions were huge.For great value go for the sandwiches. Skywalk is rather underwhelming, but I guess it has to be done.

We had an enjoyable day out with Stephen, our guide. The guide was very attentive and provided lots of information as we went, making it easy for us to simply enjoy the experience with all the logistics taken care of. The hike was mainly flat (just a few steps to negotiate) with great views.

An amazing day with a fantastic bunch of people and the best tour guides ever. Picked up promptly at our hotel and greeted warmly by Gil. The Levada walk is stunning, the waterfalls breathtaking. It’s an absolute must. Got some great pictures. We would definitely recommend this trip to others .

The whole trip was well organised and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The scenery is beautiful and our guides Rui and Gio were excellent- so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We were lucky to go with a really nice bunch of people. Good footwear is essential for the walk and dress for a much colder climate than at sea level. Would highly recommend this tour!
