This tour is amazing! Manuel is a very knowledgable guide and made the experience very fun and educational. He took us to several picturesque landmarks on the island and even added in a beach not included on the itinerary, which was awesome. I highly recommend this tour because you cover all the highlights of the island in a day, which is not possible doing it on your own. Also, the roads on the island are steep and narrow, so it was great having a very experienced driver like Manuel take us around. Definitely the highlight of our trip and would do it again!

Very nice trip. Goncalo was an excellent guide. He was from the island and was full of information. 8 passenger van was clean and looked nice. Great overview of the beautiful island. Very good lunch was included. We had a very enjoyable day and recommend it if you have time.

It was our first time (me, my partner and my parents) in Azores so we figured a tour would be a great way to know Sao Miguel a bit better. We did the full day tour on the west side, and we all had a great day and a great lunch too! Joao was an amazing guide, very friendly and very knowledgeable! He gave us lots of facts about the geology, the history, the natural environment that made the whole experience even better. He went the extra mile of translating everything into both languages 😅 as my partner doesn't speak portuguese and my parents don't speak english!

Manual was such a great guide! He went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our group was happy and comfortable. Every spot we stopped, he have a brief history of the experience. Grateful we were able to get him on our 2nd day for this tour as well!!

We highly recommend booking this activity, as it was the highlight of our whole trip. 𝕁𝕠𝕒𝕠 is a fantastic guide, full of energy and insight — and a great photographer, too. We walked away with so many excellent photos and amazing memories. 𝕁𝕠𝕒𝕠 was really great at planning and timing to get the best views before (or after) the fog rolled through and to beat the lunch crowds. The views were stunning, the meal was excellent, and the towns we explored were beautiful. We really enjoyed getting to know this lovely island through this experience. The 9-seater van was also very comfortable with individual air vents at each seat, which makes a huge difference. We did both the West and East tour and highly recommend booking both to get the most of the experience. The two journeys are so different, with this one focused on view points and towns and the other on the natural resources, like the calderas. So, if you can only do one, it’s really just up to your personal preference on what you want to see most.

What a fantastic day. Joao was brilliant - from taking photos of everyone to his knowledge of the island, can't fault the day at all. Lunch was also great with plenty options & wine.
