This tour included a lot of stops for spectacular view points, as well as some opportunities to get out and walk around a lake or on the black sand beach. There were only 3 of us on the tour, myself and a couple from Spain, so our tour guide Andres had to give all of the talks in both English and Spanish. This tour did not include any hiking, but there were areas that would definitely be nice to hike.

We took 2 day tours with this company and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The views were amazing, the stops and pacing of the tours were well organized so we didn’t feel neither rushed, nor bored, guides really funny and entertaining. Surprisingly the included lunches were really tasty too, in Siete Cidades we could sample different local foods and they had excellent wine included too, in Furnas we had a meal cooked in the volcano, very tasty too. Had we made the tours on pur own, we would have missed out on many look out points and wouldn’t have gotten so much information. Highly recommend.

The trip was really nice and the driver kept explaining to us the history of everything we saw. Lagoa do Fogo and Cete Cidades are extraordinary! The place (restaurant?) they reserved for us for lunch looked like the food was cooked somewhere else and then they brought it there plus it had very mediocre quality.

Fantastic day. The weather was perfect, as were the sites and the journey either ANC. Our tour guide Andre (spelling?) could not have been better. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made everyone feel attended to. I would take a tour with him any day, anywhere. He is definitely an asset to ANC. If you want to see a view of the island away from the city (we were in Ponta Delgada), this is the tour to take. Breathtaking.

Miguel gave us a wonderful tour starting from the port. Even on an extraordinarily wet and foggy day, he ensured we saw some beautiful sites, even making special arrangements to visit a pineapple greenhouse given that some of the other sites were difficult to see through the weather. A great way to spend the day.

Fantastic, it is also the best excursion to do in a specialized vehicle. We on quads and great. The guide, Luis, made it very enjoyable. The food is also very good.
