Bad. Bad. Bad. We were sent to the wrong meeting place and the host blamed viator. We rushed up several hundred steps and took nearly half an hour to arrive. We were put on a table at the front door about 1 metre from the path outside and asked for water as we were very thirsty after the rush and then were charged €5.50 for one small bottle 4 of us shared. I could not see it unless i stood up and the singers in the other room from us rarely sang in our direction. Most of the time it was muffled from the people and motorbikes on the street. We paid and went for an experience we did not recieve. We also didn't get any history of Fado. The details were wrong and the experience was nothing like the description. I tried uploading videos, but wouldn't allow. Very very poor. We all want a refund. Arthur and mills groups.

Or a good experience. Incorrect meeting place given. Expected to squash 4 people into tiny space and split our group of 4, until we said no and we’re given a separate table. Singers and musicians barely visible to us. Sound directed mostly to another room. We ate dinner beforehand as we only read that a drink was included. I ca not drink alcohol and so we paid 5.5 euros for a small water. We would like a refund please.

The show itself was ok., but the event was poorly organized. The meeting point specified on the voucher has been changed without any warning! After waiting for 15 minutes we called the organizer who told us where the new meeting point should be (about 15 min walking distance) Eventually, we arrived at the final destination on our own (after another few phone calls...) Quite a bit of stress!

WWE ended up waiting a long time for guide to show up, then found out pickup location had changed months ago with no notice to us, had to take taxi over. Guide was good and personable but there was no tour, just one venue which was nondescript and music seemed a bit stiff. We were served food but that not what we signed on for and had already eaten. It was disorganized and disheartening.

Such a disappointment! We waited 10 minutes earlier at the meeting place, until 30 minutes later, no one from this company showed up, we kept walking around looking for anyone who's possible the person who would pick us up. We then went to Macdonald to borrow a local phone to call, the number provided turned out to be not working. We managed to get a refund from viator, but still so upset about this - we waited the whole evening, no one has contacted us in any possible way, and no one has explained to us what happened, we could have planned other things to do in that evening. I'm so surprised this company's is still publishing at Viator.com... :((

We enjoyed our FADO tour, for the most part. The music was wonderful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The food also was very good and plentiful. Unfortunately several last minute reservations were scheduled and this cramped our experience. The venue was very small and 8 of us were seated around one rectangular table in the rear, near the restrooms. We could all hear the music, however only a couple of people could easily see the singer. The individuals that were seated on the end near the bathroom had to continuously get up to give other patrons access to the "facilities".

A bit difficult to initially meet up with guide (large open air plaza at night with no sign up to call attention to himself). The experience was great. Music unique to area. Refreshments and local taste experiences were very appreciated. Guide(s) was very informative/knowledgeable and our discussion made the evening. Warning: Need to be able to walk uphill on cobblestone streets. Highly recommend this tour if your looking for a bit of the local culture.

Tour Guide was highly educated and offered interesting insights into the genre. He was kind enough to take the time to translate the songs and read them back to us in English afterwards. He also made song requests for our group. Was pleasantly surprised that there were snacks offered along with our drinks. Very enjoyable evening!

My friend and I enjoyed this show very much. The little bites were delicious, drinks good and performers excellent. The tour company that we were told would take us on this tour via email was not the name of the company waiting for us in the square. We found them only by accident. Thank you Leonardo! You were an excellent host.

We had an enthusiastic guide, but the setup was such that we saw the early rehearsal for what was the later performance (which took place upstairs). . The tour included perhaps 40 minutes of singing by the three performers. Our seating arrangement was sub-optimal, relative to the singers. I had the feeling that if I wanted a combined food and Fado experience, I could have done better by selecting a restaurant of my choice with a better seating arrangement.
