Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima

This Marian center of pilgrimage evokes the apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta, who took place in 1917 and were recognized in 1930. The Sanctuary includes the Chapel of Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Prayer Hall and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. They complement the Sanctuary, the Retreat Houses of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Carmo and the Paul VI Pastoral Center.

Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima

This magnificent church was the first Catholic temple to be erected in Lisbon after the establishment of the Republic in Portugal in 1910. The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima is Primo Valmor in 1938, and of its patrimony the extraordinary stained glass of Almada Negreiros stands out.

Great experience! Felipa was an excellent tour guide. The process was fast and easy, they dropped you off right by the church, the ride was smooth and both Felipa (tour guide) and the driver were very professional.

I was drawn to going to Fatima, as I love the story of the apparition. Also loved the beautiful church and seeing the tombs of the children .

The sanctuary was absolutely beautiful. However, the tour guide gave minimal details about the site after arriving. While I like that we had time to explore on our own and understand that this is only a half-day tour, we would have completely missed the most amazing parts if not that we traveled with a historian. The tour guide, to be fair, explained the traditions that led to the church’s construction, however, I found myself searching Google to find answers to my questions when actually on-site. Maybe do the full day where the guide an offer more of a hands on experience.

We miss the day of the tour due to confusion of the day that we have our tour.We were late in checking in at our hotel that we were not able to come. We notified viator and we requested a refund but we were denied. So I felt bad that we lost the payment and unable to go to Fatima. We came all the way from Canada and missed our tour and money as you did not give any co sideration.

Best trip i could ask for. the bus picked us up promptly at our hotel and the travel guide was exceptional. made the ride over interesting by giving the history of the sights along the way in addition to giving us excellent instruction for our visit to Fatima ....and one on one personal instruction in multiple languages to insure our trip was a success for all

Thanks for a memorable half-day - a pleasent way of guiding and communicating information about the scrine and the history behind it. This trip was excellent for me - as a new catholic (a new world to me) and as a bussiness traveller who did not have more than a half day for this visit.

We took the afternoon trip. Large, comfortable motorcoach. No bathroom aboard, but trip was fairly short (90 min) They would stop if needed, but no one did. Adrianna did an excellent job describing history of Portugal and Fatima, in 4 languages, along the way. We stopped just outside the entrance for 10 minutes at a gift shop. The compound itself is huge, a bit confusing. Adrianna mi gled throufh the crowds and managed to find the stragglers and set them on the right course. We missed the hourly mass in the modern Basillica. Some references say mass held on the hour, some say on the half hour. Check with your guide.

Great tour to Fatima and the Sanctuary Basilica. The church is beautiful. The candlelight Procession is so amazing for Catholic faith folks. This is a highlight of any trip to Lisbon.

Beautiful! The tour was okay. She was speaking in different languages so it kind of cuts into the time. But overall, Fatima was gorgeous and the tour served it's purpose.
