Meeting point and departure for the tour. From Albufeira we will leave for the tour, we will find the traditional Algarvian houses. On the way we will see irrigation systems used by the former farmers of the Algarve and many of them still from Roman times.

Paderne Castle

Visit the castle from medieval times, the castle of Paderne is one of the castles of the Portuguese national flag. Castle from the Moorish period, when the Arabs still ruled the Algarve. In this place we will enjoy the beauty around. (Interior of the castle it is only possible to visit when the municipality opens to the public)

Vitor was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and shared his family history in the region with us. The stops along the way were great. We truly enjoyed the trip. I would recommend using a microphone because the road noise made it difficult for passengers farthest in the back to hear.

We had a great experience touring the Algarve Mountains in the Jeep. Jui was amazing. It was safe, fun and informative. Would highly recommend this excursion. Be aware that your clothes and shoes will get very dirty on this trip through the dirt roads.

This was hands-down the best experience of our holiday and for an amazing price. Sergio was a great driver/guide who explained the countryside as we drove through it between interesting destinations. He stopped once or twice to pick us fruit fresh from the trees and gave us recommendations for local restaurants to try. A really personable experience, we’d highly recommend it!

Victor was a great guide although maybe guides should wear a microphone so everyone can hear. He had some great things to say but it was sometimes hard to hear. Interesting and authentic landmarks. Waterfalls was a highlight.

What a fantastic day. Even before the event started the operator offered to pick us up from our hotel. Fred our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgable and fun and went out of his way to ensure you were having a great time. The tour its self was fantastic taking in beautiful scenery whilst learning lots of local history and nature. I would highly recommend this experience.

It was an awesome experience! Our guide Fred was very entertaining and funny. He told us a lot about the history of Portugal and the Algarve and all different kinds of fruit. The tour was not only very interesting but also a great and unique experience! I would really recommend it! Especially if you want to explore the country also outside of the touristic areas.
