Capela Das Aparicoes

The Chapel of the Apparitions marks the most precise place where the apparition of the Virgin Mary happened.

Basilica of the Holy Trinity

There are two basilicas here: the one of Our Lady of the Rosary, made of stone and marble in neo-baroque style. The Holy Trinity Basilica is much more recent (2007) being the fourth largest Catholic temple in the world in capacity.

Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima

There are two basilicas here: the one of Our Lady of the Rosary, made of stone and marble in neo-baroque style. The Holy Trinity Basilica is much more recent (2007) being the fourth largest Catholic temple in the world in capacity.

Valinhos Sanctuary

In addition to these sites at opposite points of the Sanctuary, you will have time to observe other places, such as the home of the Three Shepherds (Francisco and Jacinta Marto’s house and Lucia’s house), in the town of Aljustrel. In this space, we can find a faithful reconstruction of scenes from other times using old objects such as family photographs, clothes, kitchen utensils, furniture, among others. Our driver, Nuno, delivered us everywhere right on schedule and, in the process, provided us with a detailed background on the history of Fátima. He made sure we understood when and where we were to meet at each stop. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with him and learned a lot of important information about the events that occurred at Fatima. He also took time to share information about significant locations we passed by while on the way to and from Lisbon.

Alex was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. The mix of sites visited was just right. Having free time to tour at our pace was valued too. Highly recommend this tour!

The tour guides themselves were absolutely fine and being Catholic Fatima is a must see. But it is a place that you really only need to spend a few hours at and shops outside the area all are selling the same products. More of a tourist trap than a holy shrine.

Our guide was knowledgeable and kind and patient with us. I left my phone at Fatima and he helped us to get it back. He was wonderful. I recommend him to everyone and also your services to everyone!

Very good tour. Large air conditioned minibus was comfortable. Tour guides were great, told about Fatima and the story of how the three children saw the holy apparition. Visiting the home of two of the children, and looking at some of the homes still standing just as it was back in the early 1900s was historical. Visiting the churches, sanctuaries was inspirationa. Attended the mass, spoken in Portuguese, at the basilica. Delightful tour.
