This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Nuno was our guide and he treated us like dear friends throughout the day. He was so knowledgeable about the area and didn't just dump us someplace and then pick us up later. He actually came with us to all the sights. If we had paid five times the price we paid it still would have been a bargain. If you want a truly wonderful day book with Nuno.

Pedro was a wonderful guide. Showed us so many fabulous sites that we never would have seen without him. This tour is truly the best way to see The area!

Pedro went above and beyond! There was a strike at the main monuments that we were aware of but still kept the tour. He accommodated us and took us to hidden gems and super amazing look out points on the coast and national parks/forests to make up for it!

Pedro was great with us, be ready to be educated and amazed by the history of this tour. Pedro was helpful, genuine answered all our questions made suggestions and we went with the flow. We were driven around to places and walked in others. well worth the price of this tour we saw many places on one day. And don’t forget to tip!

Our guide, Pedro, with Pipefly Tours, was wonderful. He was deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of all the places. More importantly, he was incredibly thoughtful, kind and patient. He gave us an exceptional tour, gave us time to explore a bit on our own, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour for a great introduction to Sinatra and the surrounding area.

Our guide, Pedro was outstanding!! He explained everything clearly and vividly, stood in line for us at several sites, so we could explore the area while he waited in line and held our place (it was Easter week, long lines, lots of people). Sintra is beautiful, and this trip was well worth the money. Highly recommend it!!

Rui was absolutely amazing and was very thorough with his tour. In the middle, he took us to a very typical Portuguese restaurant that was incredible. Overall, he was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the excursion. If you have the option, certainly do the tour with Rui!

We booked the small group tour with Pipefly and Pedro was very responsive and helpful in answering my inquiries. For all the tour stops, he would walk with us and tell us interesting stories. For both Pena Palace and Quinta de Regaleira, his walking tour takes us to some stops off the main touristy sections too which we would have never found on our own. For lunch, he even took us to a local cafe which we really enjoyed :) He even bought us local snacks to try and gave us ginjinha to try at the end of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and Pedro to anyone wanting to make their Sintra/Cascais tour memorable!

My 2 friends and I visited Portugal on our Christmas vacation for 3days. On one of those days we decided to visit Sintra. We took a train there and was greeted with pouring rains haha. They do say Sintra has a mini climate of it's own. Now to be honest I don't think we had a well thought out plan of what we were going to visit in Sintra or how we were going to get about. In our heads we thought we would walk. But later we realized that was totally unrealistic. As we walked out the train station, and trying to figure out our plan of action, a man asked if we needed any assistance and was showing us the different things to do in Sintra. I think ideally we'd have ignored and Gone about trying to do things on our own but with the pouring rain, we knew we wouldn't be able to get about on our own. So, we listened to what he was offering, which was Pena Palace, Historic centre for lunch, Quinta de regaleira, Cabo da roca and made the quick decision of going along with the tour. It was 30 euro a person. The tour itself was lovely. Pedro drove us to the various locations in his van and would talk to us and give us a bit of the history. He would go into the various monuments and locations and walk with us. Our own private tour. Was very special. Walking about these places alone, I wouldn't have learnt or understood as much about the history. It was nice having someone to ask questions and to get such great responses also. And just to add, if you're picture savy girls like us, Pedro takes great pics 😏. So all in all, we highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring Sintra. We were fortunate to be there in the off season so it was not busy and not too expensive, however for busier time of year, I would recommend booking online. I'll attach some pics to show u the wonderful places we visited.

We are a group of 6 friends from USA that went to Sintra and surrounds to spend a day out of Lisbon. We made no advance plans and were lucky to run into Daniel to drive us around. We are so glad we did! He had a big comfortable SUV, and a lot of local knowledge about the place he was born and raised in. We got to see the sights through his eyes, and quite often, away from the routine tour routes. Also, a big highlight of the day was lunch at a local family-run restaurant that you would not normally find on a touristy agenda. We loved every minute of our day with Daniel!
