We had an amazing time with Nick and David. They were do informative and made the whole trip so enjoyable! They took great care of us, and made the hike that much easier.

This was our first visit to Madeira and our anniversary so wanted something special to celebrate. The communication from Nico was excellent to organise the trip. We were collected on time by our guide David and driven to a look out point at Ponta de Sao Lourenço to watch the sunrise. Then there was a short trip to start our hike. We took our time and stopped at view points on the way up with a short snack and sun cream break before the final ‘summit’ . The route definitely challenged me (I’m nearly 50!) and there were points that felt quite narrow although there is a railing in many places. We were so proud and pleased to complete it. If you have vertigo it will challenge you ! On the way back we swam in the sea which was really refreshing. The hike back to the van was just as spectacular. David took us to a viewpoint high above Mâchico and then for a Poncha before returning home. I would definitely recommend for a fabulous hike and overall experience 😊

To start the day with a beautiful sunrise above the clouds, the guide is attentive to our needs and very friendly. The panoramic view is amazing at the top. I highly recommend !

We had a wonderful morning walk with David, who looked after us all for this stunning sunrise walk.
Small group of six people with only two pick ups, which was also fantastic!
You also beat the crowds of people that arrive later, could not imagine what high season is like.
Would recommend hands down and is so worth paying that little bit more for this very personal service

Stunning walk! Although the weather was a bit cloudy so we didn’t get to see the sunrise, it was still so worth it to start the hike early. We basically had the entire piece of land to ourselves and the views were breathtaking all around. After being picked up exactly on time agreed at 6,45, it was roughly 3/4 hours walk in total but the views take your mind off of the time walking. And it wasn’t just the walk, on the way there we stopped and our lovely guide bought us an espresso to start the day! And after the walk we stopped for some traditional Madeiran ‘poncha’ which was delicious even if it wasn’t even midday yet! It was a great morning and I can not recommend them highly enough.

The hike was amazing and a good workout, the viewpoints were spectacular on the walk. David was an impeccable guide, pointing out along the way any potential hazards, interesting flora and providing history of the island. This was topped at the end with a hard earned poncha!!!
