Roza was extremely knowledgeable and about Jewish history, and she went the extra mile to arrange special viewings for us. We never would have been able to see these sites without her connections.

Roza our guide was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable. She provided us with a detailed history and showed us places around Porto that we would never have found by ourselves. Her warm and friendly personality made the hours together stand out as a memorable stay in Porto. Highly recommend Roza for Jewish Porto tour!!

Roza is a great guide. Unfortunately because of the war with hamas, she was not allowed to take us to the synagogue or museum. Instead, she brought the shamas from the synagogue to our hotel to talk about current events in porto. We improvised, she and he met us and talked over coffee for over an hour before going out. She came with notes, pictures, a calendar from the synagogue, and an extensive history. She also took is to the lello bookstore (not to be missed!), and was very helpful. The 3 hours flew past very quickly, and she offered to do more if we had the time! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

If we could give Rosa 10 stars we would. She is a true professional, historian, excellent guide, and really enhanced our experience of Porto. My wife and I learned a lot, which is exactly what we wanted. Rosa took us to the places we needed to see and experience, unique places that other guides would likely have passed for ease. Unfortunately the synagogue was closed due to Hamas attacks in Israel and the Israeli Embassy directing temporary closure, however Rosa arranged for an important person from the synagogue to meet us at the end of the tour at our hotel so he could explain additional history. It was a tour we will never forget.

Picked up from our hotel and taken by car to sites ancient and modern, no aspect of Porto's Jewish past or present was missed out. Roza is knowledgable and a pleasure to tour Jewish Porto with. Even some 'locked doors' were opened with her magic touch.

Rosa was fabulous as a guide on this tour. She was knowledgeable about the history of the Jews in Porto and took us to all three of the areas where they once lived. It was easy to see the history as she talked us through the experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Rox was an excellent and very lovely guide who came to our rescue when another tour operator let us down. She took us to the synagogue and Jewish museum and to the medieval Jewish area explaining the history of the Inquisition.

Roza was amazing!!! We booked a tour with her on our first day in Porto and she gave us a wonderful introduction to the city. Roza met us at the synagogue that we could not enter without her connections with the shul’s staff because of tight security. We were also able to visit the jewish museum which, with Roza’s knowledge, explained the history of Jews in Porto and Portugal. We were also able to visit the Shoa museum called “Yizkor” which we would not have been able to enter without Roza and her connections with the staff (also because of tight security). After spending time in the current jewish area, Roza took us to the old city where she showed us the old jewish quarters and even got us entry into the retirement home which houses an ancient ark discovered in the wall! Amazing. Finally, because of Roza’s knowledge, we were able to book entry into the world’s most beautiful bookstore and walked passed the VERY long lineup into the bookstore like we were vips! Roza is very educated in the history of the Jewish peoples of Spain and Portugal. She obviously has a great love and interest in the jewish history and we learned so much. Thank you Roza!!
