Manuel D.S. was our tour guide. He was really fabulous. Immense knowledge of the deep history, city of Lisbon, cultural facts, etc. We had quite an enjoyable and educational day. We both drove and walked parts of the city. We also asked for a recommendation for lunch. He inquired as to our tastes and suggested a wonderful local Portuguese BBQ - not only did he make a wonderful suggestion but he spoke to the restaurant to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience and we certainly did indeed. Highly recommend Manuel and this tour.

We had a wonderful day touring Lisbon with Carlos. While we might have hoped for clearer skies, all the other aspects of the day were terrific. Carlos is incredibly knowledgeable about the city and the places that we visited. He did a fantastic job of customizing the tour for us because of mobility issues concerning too many ups and downs. He did a fantastic job. Lisbon is a beautiful fascinating city and we felt as though we knew it much better after our time with Carlos. We also enjoyed learning about Carlos and his family's life in Lisbon. We asked Carlos to pick a restaurant for lunch where he might eat with his family and his choice was excellent. The food was terrific and the price reasonable. When we go to LIsbon again, as we plan to do, we will contact Carlos to learn even more about his home.

Wonderful private tour with Bruno!! Bruno was waiting for us as we left the cruise ship in Lisbon. He showed us to a very nice clean comfortable Mercedes sedan. The first day of our tour we drove for about 2.5 hours from the Lisbon cruise port to visit the Via Alegre porcelain museum in Ilhavo. Awesome. We had an excellent lunch in Aviero and took a ride through the canals in Aviero in a traditional Moliceiro boat. That evening we drove back to our cruise ship in Lisbon. We were able to see some of the countryside and learn about Portugal's history and industries. Bruno's English is excellent and we had some very interesting discussions throughout our trip. The second day Bruno took us for a tour of the major sights in Lisbon. In addition to visiting the Mother Church we visited an olive oil shop where we learned about how olive oil is made and got to sample several different types of olive oils. My travel companion is a quilter and we also visited a fabric store to buy some lovely quilting fabrics. Because we did this private tour we were able to do the things we really wanted to do during our short time in Lisbon. I highly recommend this company. They were very easy to deal with by email and everything worked exactly as promised!

Carlos was a marvelous tour guide, and our family thoroughly enjoyed our day in Lisbon. He took into account that I was getting over a foot injury and had to limit walking. Nonetheless, we saw and experienced much of Lisbon. He picked a great place for our lunch and got us to all the sights we wanted to see. The Mercedes was extremely comfortable as well. I would definitely use Walkborders in the future. They were very professional and easy to book with.
