We had a great private tour with Eduardo to Sintra and Cascais. Eduardo made sure that we were able to see everything that we wanted to and he was very knowledgeable about all the sights. He also took us to a great restaurant on our way to Cabo da Roca, and they served some of the best seafood that we have ever had. Overall, this tour was very entertaining, informational, and it ended up being one of the best days of our trip.

We had a great tour of Sintra and a visit to Cascais with Hugo. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. His tips saved us time so that we got to see as much as possible during the time we had. We learned much more than we would have visiting on our own. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, so the whole thing was very easy. We highly recommend Hugo!

If you’re looking to explore some of the areas just outside Lisbon, I could not recommend this enough! Our tour guide Hugo picked us up directly from the hotel with zero fuss, meaning a completely stress-free day. Hugo was friendly, respectful, and extremely knowledgable about Sintra and the Pena Palace where we visited. He structured the day around us, so we never felt rushed, could view the sites at our own pace, and take what detours we thought were interesting. Really good service and I look forward to seeing more sights with him!

The hubby and I visited Lisbon for the weekend for our anniversary. Firstly Lisbon is wonderful and our hotel staff recommended the private tour for the day to Sintra. Hugo, our guide picked us up at our hotel and we spent the whole day with him. The day was perfect, he took us to the Palace de Pena, the initaitic well and Cascais for food. Hugo was fantastic, we cannot talk highly enough about him. He was super knowledgeable, engaging, fun and did everything he could to make our day fabulous. If you book a tour with them, ask for Hugo!

Highly recommend this tour. Had a wonderful day with Hugo from ♥️ & Soul Tours. He was punctual, informative, engaging, funny and with all that he was also a good driver - all around complete package! Loved all the locations Hugo brought us to - So sorry to have to leave beautiful Portugal!

This review is very late but we haven’t forgotten our tour earlier this year. We were so lucky to find that Eduardo had last minute availability but I would definitely book way ahead to be sure. He is the consummate professional, kind and funny with it. (Somehow while giving us full attention, he also helped several other lost souls and one confused tour guide!) Initially we had planned to see Pena Palace independently, but there is no way we could have managed it so comfortably and smoothly without a guide to help us through the tricky entrance procedures. Pena Palace is also overwhelmingly beautiful and it would have been easy to get distracted and miss the historical significance of the building and its decoration without Eduardo’s precise and well-pitched explanations. After seeing the Palace, we visited further afield without any sense of rush: the gorgeous village of Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira with its famous well and even made it to Cabo do Roca for a fabulous late lunch at a local restaurant (we had already visited Caiscais so skipped there). This tour was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

If you are looking for the best Lisbon, Sintra tour guide, look no more. Use Eduardo Silveira, of Heart and Soul Tours. He's a historian who's smart, warm hearted, and will tailor your tour to your interests. We had him take us around Lisbon on day 1 and Sintra on day 2. He's efficient and well connected. We saw this first hand when weather turned bad and he got us first in line to the top sights in Sintra, THE pastry shop, the Well and Pena palace. The tourists that were close enough to hear him in the Pena palace came up to me afterwards to comment on how great he was. If that wasn't enough, he takes excellent photos and gave us the most delicious restaurants recommendations. Use him if you want a true Portuguese experience. The director of the Smithsonian Institute has been sending folks his way.

What a magical day! Eduardo was an amazing tour guide: knowledgeable, funny, and a great driver. He is the reason that you book a private tour. You get to see everything with no hassle. The sites were beautiful, but the context that Eduardo offered helped us better appreciate it.

We absolutely could not be happier with how this tour went. The individual locations were amazing for sure, but what took it to a lifetime memorable experience was all the knowledge, fun, and customization our tour guide brought to it. We had an amazing time with Eduardo and appreciated that he took the time to learn about us and our interests. If he saw we reacted to something he’d make a mental note for related points later on. You can tell he loves his work, his clients, his country and its heritage. This was 100% worth the money.

A beautiful, magical tour. The castle tour was a highlight of our trip, you could feel the love and care that went into building the castle and Hugo was full of stories. Hugo was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable and patient with our questions as well as the crowds. He made the day so much fun. The photos he took were perfect! He even found a perfect place for lunch in one of the beach towns and helped us navigate getting train tickets to Porto the next day. We are your walking shoes, bring your sunglasses and enjoy each second!
