The attention to detail & knowledge from our driver Miguel This is a wonderful company to book with It was only 5 of us 2 other people missed their excursion Newer stops, which you certainly would’ve not been able to achieve with the big bus so it’s certainly recommend a small bus at all times with 15 people Enough time at each stop taking pictures although our lunch is included with the value but would not recommend me to pay €18 for the quality of food reflection company Last lastly, it indicate there’s a Lovato walk. There is no lot of walk. There’s a stop at Lada and you certainly around here given 30 minutes all you do is walk around there’s a mountain you could climb up in case it rained two days ago and it was very muddy We’re still enchanting trees The weather was great certainly makes big difference We ended up stopping at the oldest Punch establishment it was absolute great experience My only recommendation is the word Lovada should be removed as their several comments on people saying this, and the driver himself comment and there was a little bit deceiving, but all in all great value and believable believable driver would exceptional knowledge

Great day with an experienced local guide who was able to adjust our route to accommodate changing weather conditions. Very informative and fun. Lunch at a typical local restaurant with great food and good service.

We are so glad that we chose this company to show us the highlights of Madeira. We didn't choose Madeira as our original holiday destination so we didn't know what to expect. Due to Covid and cancelled holidays we came for a week to get away from the UK and wanted to fill our week with exploring the island. We chose 3 tours, Madeira East, Madeira West and Nuns Valley. Our guide for all 3 tours was Tony. He made the tours. He was knowledgable, he was funny, he was kind and patient, he drove very well (only the 2nd best Driver on the island according to him), he was never in any hurry to finish and his flora and fauna knowledge astounded us no end. We are so glad we were given this guide for 3 days of our week, we can honestly say that this made our holiday. We thank the company and Tony for his neverending stories of how the island came to be.

Negatives: The main attraction on this tour, as advertised is the LEVADA WALK. For over two months, since August, the Levada Walk was removed from the tour due to fires. We paid to do a Levada Walk, and should have been informed that the walk was not available OR the company could have added into the full day tour, another Levada Walk since Madeira Island has hundreds all over the island. We were not told that the Levada Walk was not happening until the tour didn’t stop. Very disappointing as a customer!! The tour guide was an excellent driver on the steep mountainous roads, and I do applaud his driving ability. However, the tour guide was very unpleasant throughout the day, robotically spoke via a scipt information about the sites, and did not answer questions and told us to be quiet often. WOW!! How unfortunate that our entire day was spent viewing beautiful Madeira with a very unpleasant person as our guide. We paid a great deal of money and invested our precious vacation time for a positive experience, and the guide distracted from our experience in a very negative way!! Unfortunately, we could have taken any other tour company on this journey and had a better time!! We booked via VIATOR and were assigned Madeira Seekers. I warn anyone interested in booking a tour to fully research the company and guide or you may be stuck for a full day with a terrible guide. We spent a lot of money for this tour and most of the people on this tour had paid a significantly less amount of money due to their participation in time share tours, another disgusting disappointment with this tour and our costs! Positives: I highly recommend going with a tour guide to see the Madeira West Island because navigating on your own would be very difficult on the extremely mountainous, narrow roads! Please research the tour company and demand a decent tour guide to take you through the magnificent sights on the island! Madeira is a beautiful island and should be fully enjoyed with a pleasant escort! We did see spectacular sites and enjoyed a delicious full lunch that was a great value.

So unfortunately we had a miserable and rude tour guide for our West Island tour booked via Madeira Seekers. Our first impression of him was when he told our tour group to "shut up" and at the conclusion of the tour he dropped us on the side of the road instead of pulling up to the front of our hotel. Furthermore, the tour was called a "West Island and Levada Walk" tour but apparently the Levada walk area was damaged months ago and so the tour doesn't visit it anymore, but they still advertised the Levada walk as being a key part of the tour. Also, all the other people on our tour had gotten to go on the tour by listening to some 4-hour long scam time share sales pitch while we had paid in full from booking on Viator. While the western route of Madeira is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed the sites we visited, plus the wonderful lunch, it was despite the awful experience that this tour guide and operator gave us. I would highly recommend you to visit the western side of Madeira island, but please do not do it with this tour operator. Hopefully you will be able to find a better tour company for a better experience.
