Hugo was amazing. Excellent driver. -Beautiful clean car-Good ( English) communication. Wonderful suggestions and helpful hints for the rest of our vacation. Hugo went out of his way to take us back to Belem where we couldn’t get in due to long lines the day before, that was so thoughtful. You won’t find a better guide. Great day!. Thank you Hugo.

I took my parents to Portugal for my mom's birthday. I am so glad that I booked the tour trip with him as I got sick unexpectedly. He showed my parents around while I stayed in the car and took good care of them so I could get some rest. He is very knowledgeable and shares his love of history. I am grateful for his dedication.

I would highly recommend Hugo Romano as a private driver and tour guide if you are visiting Portugal. He was our driver for two days for my 3 girlfriends and myself. He was extremely professional, friendly and personable. We felt very at ease with him, and he is a very safe driver and very knowledgeable. We visited the Frita Preta winery for a tour and tasting. Was an amazing winery. Then Hugo recommended and took us to a great little restaurant in Evora. After lunch we toured around Evora, went to the Chapel of the Bones, and had an amazing day all around. Hugo's customer service and love of his country (and 'Red' football team) is what made our trip memorable. Don't hesitate to reach out of him for all your travel needs in Portugal.

This was the second day of the trip with Mr. Hugo. He went back to planning our itinerary, starting with the cork factory. Then we went to the center of Évora, saw the monuments and had lunch in a restaurant next to the chapel of the bones, with very tasty food, advised by Mr. Hugo. We ended the day trip with a wine tasting. We recommend Hugo, very professional and friendly.

We spent an amazing day with Hugo Romano traveling from Lisbon to Lagos. He was very prompt (early) for pickup, his car was very comfortable and he even had cold water for our journey. We stopped to sightsee in Evora on the way. He brought us to a great lunch spot and even booked us a wine tour. Hugo is a super nice guy who entertained us with information about Portugal and just easygoing conversation. My group of four highly recommend Hugo!! Thanks Hugo!!

Hugo drove my friend and I to Evora from Lagos and then on to Lisbon. It was a fabulous day with him! Hugo took us to Evora an pulled out all the stops! We saw the Roman Temple, walked through town, visited Chapel of Bones and had lunch outside at an adorable cafe. Hugo is so friendly and easy to talk to and has answers to any questions. Hugo also took us to a winery, which the wine was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. He really did a good job recommending experiences to us to make our transfer special. His car is clean and nice and even has wifi! Five stars for Hugo and I 100% recommend connecting with him for your trip.

Hugo was a great guide for our trip to Evora! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the town, and helped us customize a day that worked for us. He was also very careful when driving on difficult roads, knowing I was pregnant and taking great care all day for me. Lastly, our conversations with Hugo while in the car for approximately 4 hours were great - there was never a dull moment. To top it off, Hugo gave us great recommendations based on his insider local knowledge for places to go in Lisbon and Porto. I highly recommend going with Hugo for any sightseeing around Portugal.

Evora is beautiful and it is a perfect day trip from Lisbon. What made our trip amazing was a very knowledgeable and friendly local guide/driver Hugo Romano. Hugo went out of his way to show us Almendres Cromlech which is a megalithic site on the way to Evora. This was a nice surprise and he also shared with us some fun facts about the cork forest nearby. In Evora, he recommended an amazing lunch place in the town square which my little boys thoroughly enjoyed. To round off the day, Hugo had another surprise - he took us to see Christ the King statue up close. Hugo was also very attentive to our children and engaged them through out. Our time in Lisbon was extra special for these reasons. We hope to come back soon!! THANK YOU Hugo!!
