We absolutely enjoyed our tour with Fred. He was extremely kind, courteous, and tailored our tour to our wishes. We enjoyed every stop, Pont du Gard was by far a major highlight! The Roman theatre in Orange was spectacular and so massive! The triumphal arch, wine tasting, and chocolate tasting were the “icing on the cake.” Everything was wonderful, along with our delicious lunch. Most enjoyable was the wonderful day Fred gave us!

The leader kept us on schedule over a long day. Good driver on country roads. Knowledgeable about wine. The only criticism it would have been nice for him to have started the tour with introductions. There was one couple that none of us didn’t get to know or meet until the very end.

We wanted to see the Roman Aquaduct and the arena in Orange, but mostly due to the enthusiasm of Nico, our guide, the entire tour was fun and informative. We know it was the luck of the draw, but we enjoyed the other three people on the tout tremendously. This was our first Viator tour and are now interested in booking other ones.

The wine and chocolate tour included a visit to the Pont du Gard and the Roman Theatre in Orange. The driver and guide Nico was both very informative and friendly. He gave us just the right amount of time at each place and was considerate of our energy levels! He booked us a table at an excellent restaurant in the market at Uzes. This was the best day tour I have ever experienced. Merci beaucoup.

We had a really good tour with Nico who went out of his way to give us a really good experience. It covered really interesting places and he was very relaxing to travel with.

Our guide, Jean-Baptiste, was excellent: knowledgeable, personable, flexible and all around great. He gave us great lessons and insights on wine in general and particularly Rhone Valley wines and some of the towns, villages and estates. This was interspersed with many amusing insights and anecdotes along the way. The only minor issue we had with the tour was that the chocolate part of the tour was merely one stop at a touristy chocolate shop that didn't seem all that special. We had seen a couple of really great boutique chocolate shops in Nimes a couple of days prior and specifically refrained from buying from them because we anticipated much more from the chocolate part of the History, Chocolate and Wine tour we had arranged a few days later. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful day and my friends and I all had a great time and learned a lot.

O passeio foi fantástico, surpreendente. Superou as expectativas. O guia Sr. Antonio, foi muito atencioso, explicando e contando a história de cada lugar. Muito profissional. Não deixem de fazer.
