Laia was amazing! I'll take you through our day. We checked in as instructed at the Castle check-in desk. A little daunting to find the right bus, and then it was wrong. So be proactive and confirm with the first guide you see that you were given the correct info.
The bus ride to the train provided us with very interesting and informative historical knowledge.
The train ride is short but beautiful. Sit on the left for the best view.
Montserrat itself is amazing. Laila provided us with a lot of information that allowed us to use our free time to its best benefit.
More useful information was provided on the short bus ride to lunch. We sat with two other couples and Laia for lunch. The company and conversation were wonderful. We enjoyed 2 glasses of wine, gazpacho, roasted chicken, and asparagus on a bed of mashed potatoes and gravy. Dessert was a traditional Catalonian cake with creme brulee. From there, we walked a good distance to the winery. It's a dirt road through the vineyards. Very beautiful with just enough exertion to walk off our lunch. The wine tasting was fantastic! We tried 2 reds and 1 white. Laia was so informative! She is so knowledgeable! From the tasting we went to the wine bar and purchased many bottles to ship home. All in all, this was a great day! I highly recommend this tour and especially Laia! She is a gem!!

Great day trip to Montserrat including the guided tour of the Monastary followed by a wine and tapas tasting. Our group was led my Laia who provided plenty of information, history of the area and Catalunya, and of course the wine. Highly recommend!

Had a great time. Our tour guide, Laura, was amazing!! The activities were all great and it was a perfect amount of time. Recommend for families, couples, friends!

What to expect
Begin your tour in Plaça Catalunya, where you will hop aboard an air-conditioned bus to the Natural Park of the Mountain of Montserrat, just an hour away from Barcelona. A unique massif famous for its gothic shapes, beautiful views and trails - Montserrat is said to be the most important mountain in Catalonia.
Upon arrival, your guided tour consists of an extended visit throughout the Basilica and Monastery, with free time to explore the site on your own afterwards. There are many activities to choose from – you may want to see the Black Madonna, visit the Museum, make your way to the Holy Cave, ride a funicular to the top of the mountain, or shop at the farmer’s market. At the end of the visit you'll have the chance to attend a performance by l’Escolania de Montserrat, the oldest Boys’ Choir in Europe.
After Montserrat, head to the estate winery of Oller del Mas. Located in a castle dating back to the 10th century, the winery is home to 1,500 acres of land and a public golf course. Make your way into the restaurant, where you will be served a multi-course meal with wine.
Following your meal, take a stroll through the vineyards and visit the cellar for a guided tour of the estate's wines. Learn about the production process and other winemaking secrets.
Before heading back to Barcelona, enjoy a wine tasting session with three ecological wines. You will be returned at the end of the day to your original departure point.

Tours start at 8:45 a.m. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.

Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.

Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
