    The locations visited were very interesting and well worth seeing. The tour guide was not the most personable or friendly and didn’t seem to particularly enjoy his role. The driver was fantastic and a credit to the company - both super friendly and warm as well as a great driver. I would recommend skipping the set lunch and bringing your own snack. The meal was average, and time would be better spent wandering the gardens around the dragon tree.

    Well worth a visit to the " alien" landscape....you could believe you were on Mars...the stunning yet barren scenery tells the tale of a violent history and that teide wasn't the first or biggest volcano on the island...5 stars...well worth a visit HOWEVER....be warned...the cable car doesn't always run due to localised high winds...this information wasn't given to me as I'm handing my money over...I was pretty annoyed with the rep ( from a travel company that sounds a little like a fruit juice company...a clue its got a J and a 2 in its name) We did get our money back for the missed cable car element of the trip...high winds of course Lesson learned...hire a car for a couple of days in future.

    In the words of my 8 year old son “BEST DAY EVER!”. We caught the cable car to the viewing platform and climbed to the summit thereafter (permit required to access the summit). We spent 11 days in Tenerife and this was our last day excursion. We were lucky enough to access the summit of volcano with no other tourists around. We spent 30 minutes at the top taking photos and having a good look around at the crater and views. Things to note - If you drive like we did, the roads are long and winding. It’s about 70-90 minutes from most locations on the island. The drive is not for the faint hearted but is manageable. Parking was a bit of an issue. It’s super busy at any given time. We did get a space eventually but had to walk from the main road nearly to the cable car area at the base. Boarding is 20 minutes before you allocated cable car time. Be there or be square! They did leave without people who arrived late. If you are hoping to access the summit of the volcano you need to apply for a permit. We applied for this a number of months before our visit. Also, if you are going to attempt the summit be prepared for the altitude. Me and my son wholly underestimated the altitude situation. We had to stop nearly every 5 minutes to catch our breath. Took us around an hour to climbed to the top. Yes, parts of the track you will have to physically climb. Take plenty of water and snacks! All in all…. If you are going up there, go for the summit. Amazing experience and something me and my son will never forget!

    We were not picked up and waited for over 1 Hour on the pick up adress. No one has informed us about a delay or that the tour was cancelled. We called them and get the Information „bus is gone without us“. Of course we had to pay in advance. A refund was rejected without any reason.

    I did the tour with Chantal as tour guide. We were a group of ~30 people, the tour was done with a bus. Chantal was taking good care of us, friendly and overall a warm-hearted guide. She had a decent knowledge and explained continously. The bus driver was very professional and an excellent driver. The bus was fairly new and state-of-the-art, nice. The tour was from 9.30-17.30, we spent most of the time in the bus given by the distances as per the program, I have seen many spots, that was great. What I found very odd is the Tour started late around 10.15 after picking up people across hotels. After just 20min drive we did already a 1hr stop at a souvenir shop, seriously. The actual tour started not earlier than 11.45h from there. On the other hand we kept the visit of the gorgeous Teide national park really short, stops were really, really short, there was so much to see. But then 1hr at a souvenir shop? Overall I think do not recommend this tour, better to choose another provider, and/or do Teide nationalpark as one trip. To me the tour has room for improvement, a tour like this should start 1-2hrs earlier and not waste on top 1 hr at a souvenir shope. Please consider charging some euros more and give better value for the time.

Wednesdays we no longer visit the cliffs of Los Gigantes. Some days we do visit a lovely Aloa Vera park, depending on weather, routes taken and traffic. El Medano town, Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas we only pick up Tuesdays and Thursdays

    Parque del Drago

    Stop off in Icod de los Vinos to take a look at the old dragon tree 3000 years old. ( the old folks tale is if the tree is cut it will bleed.) The village of Icod is rustic with the typical church and plaza.

    Spend some time here in possibly the most beautiful villages in Tenerife. I tiny hamlet hidden in the folds of western Tenerife. A community of people who wanted to be hidden from the rest of the island. Amazing views of a gorge leading down to Los Gigantes.

    Piscinas Naturales El Caleton

    Garachico being the original first port in Tenerife until destroyed in 1706 by the volcano erupting. Having time to take a stroll through the town center or take a seat in the plaza under the trees and enjoy the scenery.
