What a great tour! We loved the three stops: the Nimes Colosseum, the medieval city of Uzes, and the Pont-du-Gard. We never felt rushed at the stops. Frédérick is an outstanding guide full of information and added to the experience of seeing the amazing sights. He went out of his way to give as a guided tour of Uzes and the Pont-du-Gard after confirming that we would prefer the fully guided tour.

A very interesting and educational afternoon. David was a great guide -- giving us lots of information but keeping it light and entertaining. Walking around the Pont de Gard was fantastic. And we now want to go back to both Nimes and Uzes to explore each more fully. Overall, a great intro to the Roman heritage of the region.

The tour took us on a very scenic drive of Provence in a comfortable minivan with 3 other couples. We could easily access the sights in Nimes and Uzes as well as the Pont du Gard . Our tour guide David was very accomodating to our needs and made the trip very enjoyable and informative.

Memories of our half-day Pont-du-Gard tour with Provence Panorama led by Thierry will be treasures we take with us from Provence. It was a wonderful and informative morning out from Avignon, and Thierry did a great job of creating a cohesive atmosphere among our vanload of travelers. A very fun tour.

Jerry was a great guide. Very informative. The tour was brilliant and had everything we wanted. The Pont and Nimes Arena were amazing.

Our guide for the day, Thierry, did much more than required to make our day a special one. Moreover, he knew his local history and its larger context -- after all, the day is all about Roman history -- and he also managed to work in some medieval history, too. I particularly enjoyed the Pont-du-Gard aquaduct (be sure to see it from the top of the cliffs on each side of the structure, which requires ascending a lot of steps, but it will be worth it, particularly if the sun striked one side of the ruin more than the other), the Roman arena in Nîmes (which as far as I'm concerned is a full-fledged Roman colliseum, so massive is it -- even if much smaller than the one in Rome), and don't forget the Roman temple only a block or two away in Nîmes, which is well worth seeing because it's so well-preserved. (I had the impression that seeing the temple was "optional," though I could be wrong -- in any event, I certainly did not want to miss it, especially since it was such a short walk from the arena.) The visit to Uzes has nothing to do with Roman history, but it's a nice place to take a break between the Roman ruins in Pont-du-Gard and Nîmes, and since the Uzes visit falls around lunch time you can grab a bit to eat there. I highly recommend the ratatouille at Les Terroirs, if you want to experience this classic local fare (which was often surprisingly absent from menus elsewhere): it was perfect, and quite possibly the best dish I ate while in France.

This was a great experience. The highlight for us was the splendour of the Pont du Gard and its museum was excellent. Uzès is charming and a beautiful village. Thierry, our guide was extremely kind and considerate, and drove very well. There was more time in the car than we expected and by the time we arrived at Nimes audio guides were no longer available which was a shame. But overall a very worthwhile afternoon. Glad we did it.

The guide, “Terry,” was knowledgeable and friendly and rearranged the tour to make the most of the unusually rainy weather. Also, he went out of his way to help us catch a bus after the tour.

We had wonderful afternoon, collected from our hotel and driven from fabulous place to place in a very comfortable, air conditioned car! What a treat! Entry to the various sites was included along with time for shopping in Ezes - who could ask for more?
