Excellent tour, Matt was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. Saw some great historical locations and learned a lot. A very important trip to remember the past.

Lucas our tour guide took an outstanding tour and elevated it to amazing by showing all the local monuments in addition to the tour stops. His book of facts, maps and pics really personalized the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about the war and the area as he was a local resident. We really appreciated the thoughtful planning of the stops to ensure we were at the cemetery at the time they would lower the flags and play taps. The Utah Memorial Museum was great and one of many highlights of the tour along with the visit to the cemetery. If you are going to take a D- Day tour be sure to get the all day tour and this is the one you want. The price was very reasonable for what was included. And be sure to ask for Lucas, you won't be disappointed.

This was my third tour of Normandy. Because my father is a WW2 vet I wanted to share this incredible experience with my daughter and grandchildren. My past two tours were so moving and verified the sacrifices of my family as well as thousands of.other families to liberate France. Unfortunately that was not the case with this tour. At one point in the tour my eleven year old grandson asked why our guide did not like Americans. There were several examples from which to draw this conclusion. One would be that every single reference to Americans was preceeded with the term "crazy.". After the seventh or eighth reference to "Crazy Americans" I stopped counting. I am so disappointed I spent almost $1000.00 with Viator so my family could walk away feeling insulted. Never again. If the "Crazy Americans" had not made such tremendous sacrifices, this tour guide would be speaking German.

Our guide Kate was wonderful. The itinerary was nicely paced, considering the depth and breadth of the subject

This was a small group tour in a very comfortable van. We went to both Utah and Omaha beaches, the German and American cemeteries, Sainte-Mère-Église…. Our tour guide, Victor, kept a great pace while also providing us with ample free time at each location. The history he provided was thorough yet succinct. And we thoroughly enjoyed the other travelers. Victor himself is enthusiastic and open to questions. I loved that someone asked him a question and after a few moments of reflection he answered: “I don’t know the answer”. I’m fairly certain he would find the answer before he gave his next tour. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about this tour!

A solid 5. Kate was masterful on the explanation of the places we visited, the history leading up to the events and overall context from the Allied and German perspectives. Plus, she is a well spoken, fun person. Merci, Kate!

Our Tour Guide, Matt, brought stories to life and context to the many complex historical events. It was a full and memorable day.

The Cemetary is always the best...being there as the flags are lowered and taps plays emphasizes the sacrifice of our soldiers.

Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide, Laurine. Whilst you might see all the relevant beaches and museums on a self drive tour you would miss out on the history lesson as well as the additional places of interest that may not be in the guide book. So if you want to know and see a bit more than just the beaches, take this tour.

Victor was outstanding! Great historian plus gave a local perspective. Would highly rec the full day tour- the day flew by.
