You’ve now reached Antibes, or Antipolis as the Greeks had first named it. A town which played the role of sentinel for the country during many centuries, hence its ramparts circling the Old Town. There you might consider strolling along those XVth century walls and Grimaldi Castle - nowadays the Picasso museum. Then your guide will drive you out of the Old Town. Once past Antibes’ large marina and its ‘Billionaires’ Quay‘, you will proceed along the coastline until you reach the town of Villeneuve-Loubet with its extraordinary ‘Marina of the Bay of Angels’ from where you will go inland towards your last site visit.

This tour was good; however, two other tours from Viator got canceled, and another tour I asked to move to one day later because our ship wasn't going to be there due to weather and they wouldn't refund my money ($500) or allow us to adjust our date. So, 5 tours I scheduled with them total for this trip, and 3 of them were either canceled or they wouldn't accommodate the day adjustment. And, their customer service sent me an email to my request telling me "no" again on the refund. Unbelievable and horrible business ethics. Specially, this tour was okay. We were in a small van with seven customers plus the guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The sites and scenery were amazing. Here are a couple of recommendations to help in the future. Have a planned and efficient plan for the day and how to get to all the sites. We drove around for hours with small, quick stops to snap a couple of pictures. It felt slightly like the amazing race, yet you are on vacation. We left at 8:30 and got back at 6:30. That's just too long and very exhausting. Net, net: I'm glad I went, but there should be a solid plan for the day so you feel like you aren't the person navigating. We aren't the subject matter experts, so we trust you all to do that part. Which, ultimately, is why we paid money for the tour. All that said, given my terrible experience with Viator, this tour (1) at least wasn't canceled, and (2) I got a lot of beautiful pictures.

Thank you Xavier for the wonderful tour of the French Riviera. We loved all parts of it from Cannes to Monaco. You helped us cover a lot of sights in a one day cruise tour. Your knowledge of the areas we visited and driving skills were superb. Tres Bien

The guide kept the whole experience interesting and informative. He spoke English very well and clear. The whole trip had something going on.Saw so much and he was fun to be with.Hated for the tour to be over., We asked if he could meet us at our next stop and be our tour guide.

Although we did not end up taking this excursion, I do want to thank the excursion company for their patience, while waiting for us to arrive, and then quickly agreeing to refund us our money, when we could not get to the agreed upon departure place even within one hour of the departure time. To make a long story short, we did what it took to get on the 1st Tender Boat from our Royal Caribbean cruise ship, to try and get to the departure point by as close to 8:30am, as possible, but that boat only got us to shore by ~9:30am. So, please be careful not to book this excursion, for an 8:30am start, if your "in port" time at the Port of Villefranche begins at 8:30am.

This excursion was to be 8 person maximum but not private excursion - We were picked up at the cruise ship dock but there was only my wife and I that showed up - our driver picked us up - drove to Nice, France - which was very heavy traffic and then west to some other small town and that was okay - what was not okay is that we drove back to the cruise ship through a very time consuming Nice, france that wasted a good 1 hour of our excursion time - picked up 4 more passengers at the cruise port for their 1/2 day excursion heading east to Monaco - why would i want to pay to go to nice and then on the same road back to the cruise ship?? Do yourself a favor - go with a private tour - i really deserve 1/2 payment back!

We wanted to see more than what our Cruise Ship offered, so we booked this & were quite happy. Once out of the port building, several people were waiting with signs that said Liven Up & John was our driver. He spoke perfect English and was an absolute delight. We felt completely catered to & saw everything there was to see. Only things I would have done differently was to stand in line early to be on the first tender. We were on the 3rd tender (of 30) and were still 40 minutes late because the tender boats are so small.

We toured for an entire day with Suzana Linharg (sp?) of Liven Up tours. We were a couple in a van, with another father and son, and enjoyed one of the best experiences that I could ever imagine. Suzana was knowledgeable, personable, and an absolute joy to be with for an entire day, and we learned SO much about Nice and its surrounding highlights. I can offer no stronger recommendation to take this tour.

Overall a very nice tour, but could have skipped the perfume factory and spent more time on the other sites. Our driver/host Cathy with Liven up Tours was very professional and pleasant. Would recommend this tour but ask to see if they could eliminate the perfume factory stop.

Thierry was our tour guide - 8 of us in the van. He had to switch between Spanish and English which I'm sure was annoying for the spanish speaking man on tour with us. would have preferred only on language to keep it simple. He took us one block away from the Canne's film festival and let us experience Monaco and the Grand Prix route. Would have liked to have see the old city in Nice but we ran out of time because of the crowds. Two large events in one weekend caused traffic to be troublesome not his fault. There was no water on the van and we kept getting pushed to the very back row of the van so we missed a lot on the route. He did not narrate much about the history which i would have preferred.
