According to Amália Rodrigues, the great fado singer, "The point is to feel Fado. Because Fado is not sung, it happens. It can not be explained, only felt." Have a meeting with portuguese culture, contacting with very unique cultural values - fado, portuguese tradicional stringed instruments, wine - deeply related with the history of Portugal. The one hour-long concert starts with the emotional voice of our leading female singer, followed by the rich sounds of the portuguese guitar and the viola de fado (guitar). On the pause, it will be served a reserve port wine from a portuguese family-owned company of Douro Valley. An hour-long concert that drive us through the intense emotions of Fado.

Great experience! The small size of the venue gave it an intimate ambience, and we were lucky enough to have both a male and a female performance, so I would definately recommend!

What a lovely evening of Fado! The music and singing were so enjoyable and the pace of the evening is just right — five or six songs, a short intermission w beverages, and then another five or six songs.

This was the 4th Fado show on our trip through Portugal, and it was fabulous! Unlike the other shows we attended that featured 2 guitars (Portuguese & Classical) this also had a 2nd guitar and an upright bass, creating a very full sound. There were 2 Fado singers, a man and a woman, with very distinctive styles, both evoking strong emotions. My husband and I both had moments that brought tears to our eyes. Like in jazz, there is an improvisational element in Fado that worked beautifully with this group of talented artists. The venue is a guitar shop, very intimate with great acoustics, and you are surrounded by guitars. Bellisimo!

A little hidden gem in a megacity. This was a mesmerizing performance. Authentic, tender with a touch of humour. The interplay of the pure sounds of singing and skilful guitar playing touched my heart like the arrows of Cupid. A wonderful way to get to know the Portuguese culture, which was enhanced by the glass of port halfway through the performance. Bravo 10x

Two singers, 3 guitars and one string bass made a perfect show. ~1 hour of singing. Each singer sung ~three songs, than there was a short break to taste a glas of Portwine. Afterwards they sung another 6 songs more or less. Beautiful music and voices. I really enjoyed it The seats are assigned by staff which I also liked so it's less stressful if you are late ;)

Excellent Fado show! The presentation lasted about an hour. There were 2 Fado soloists and they were both fabulous. Half way through the concert we were served a glass of Port wine. Very nice ambiance. Well worth it!
