We were really excited for the fado show and had made a confirmed reservation via email. Upon arrival the place was closed and multiple other people were waiting outside for the show. Nobody answered when ringing the bell, and when calling the phone number they only told us that "there is no fado in the box". We would have appreciated a simple notification for a cancellation of the show. It ruined our evening.

The two guitarists and the two singers all seemed to have a strong bond, musically and personally. When this bond exists, that's when the musical magic happens! There was a lovely range of songs performed and the audience and performers both appeared to have a wonderful time.

Good value with a nice glass of wine and tapas of roll, cheese, ham and olives. Small setting with 11 guests and a bit of explanation about the music. Excellent vocalists and musicians. Early time and reservations made it easy to attend, then eat where you want after with no drama. Highly recommend.

It was a fado atmospheric evening. We guests enjoyed wine and water, bread, olives, cheese and ham in the glow of the candles along with fado songs and games which were performed very professionally. Thanks for a great evening

This was our first time hearing fado -- after going to the Museu do Fado earlier in the day (don't miss it!) -- and we loved it. The room, for the 5pm show at least, is small, so the concert was intimate. Fadistas Sónia Santos and Augusto Ramos, with guitarist Sérgio Costa and two other guitarists whose names we didn't get, brought real feeling and animation to their singing. Both have beautiful voices, and Sérgio's playing on the Portuguese guitar was equally wonderful. The house served us a couvert of bread, cheese, smoked ham, olives and wine before the music began, but the music was so enthralling that I ignored the food except during pauses between songs. For those new to fado (like us), be aware that the custom is to listen to the music while it's being performed. It isn't like a jazz club in the US, where you can chat with your companions when the music is happening.

We never made it to the show. Directions to the venue would help in a country where we don’t speak the language. Can I get a credit for my 40 euros?

A great option for somebody who doesn’t want to commit to an expensive late-night dinner and a full show. The music was incredible.

Intimate and wonderful experience. After booking a bit of confusion about “pickup”, as the booking asked us to enter a pickup location. I messaged vendor and they answered shortly that they don’t do pickups. Also a little confusing on the nameplace where the fado event was happening. But the actual address was where we needed to be! Now then the tapas (snacks) and drinks were perfect for an early event. I might add it’s one of the only fado events I could find before 8pm as we are not much of night owls. The singers were passionate and beautiful and we all really enjoyed the show. Very worth it!

This was a beautiful performance in an intimate venue. The singers were passionate and the music was gorgeous. The venue is small enough that there are no bad seats. I highly recommend this performance.
