This tour is absolutely amazing!! We also had the most wonderful Tour Guide!!! She was so informative about every stop and told us things about Alaska. She made the trip fun and interesting!!! You see alot on this tour, even the drive to each location was interesting. You really do see the Highlights of Fairbanks. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes!! And at the end of the tour you get to get up close to THE ALASKA PIPELINE!!! That was so interesting and I can say I touched it....part of history.

All the places we visited were interesting and contributed to a better understanding of the lifestyles/ cultures in Alaska. Great overview of the city which helped us plan other outings. The tour gave a great overview of the city. Really enjoyed the time spent at the Museum of the North. Could have stayed longer! The tour of the large animal research at the Agricultural University was super interesting. We had a great tour guide. Enjoyed seeing Santa at the North Pole.

If you are part of a large group this tour might be the way to go but for a couple or solo traveler save yourself some money and time by renting a car and doing this yourself. This tour provided nothing more than taxi service and entry fee to the University museum. Any narration provided by the driver was not heard by anyone middle to rear of van.

Muriel was our guide. She was very knowledgeable about not only the museums and landmarks but also explained how it is to live in Fairbanks being she lived here nearly all her life.

I highly enjoyed and recommend The Best of Fairbanks, city highlight tour. The four places we visited truly presented the rich culture and life of interior Alaska. Our driver and guide, Muriel, demonstrated genuine concern for our interests, answered our questions, and gave us plenty of time at each stop to explore and appreciate the displays, artifacts, and points of interest. I hope to return some day to discover even more wonders!
