This is the second time we've been out with Ocean Vibes and although we didn't see any whales, we saw three types of dolphin and a juvenile Loggerhead turtle. As we headed out we saw an Osprey leave the waves having caught a fish. Alfredo and Susannah took us out and when the wind changed we had to head back towards the coast, but then came across a pod of bottle-nose dolphins. The knowledge and passion the marine biologists have at Ocean Vibes makes these trips so worth taking as they're dedicated to preserving and protecting the ocean's cetaceans, and other marine life. Booked again for the Summer already and will go back again next year.

We had Pedro as our tourguide, a fantastic and professional guide who know a lot of the flora and fauna in the formossa. We booked the tour a day before departure and had the luck we were the only ones in the tour. So Pedro made the tour custom made. We recommend this tour!

Pedro , our guide , was very ecologically and environmentally aware and fully shared his knowledge and expertise with us . Great trip ; highly recommended .

This tour was such an amazing experience. Since there were no other passengers we had like a private tour. Pedro was giving very complete explanation about the sealife around us. We really had a blast! If you don’t like the touristic boats but you want more depth in a tour this is definitely the experience for you.

Amazing boat trip with Pedro. He is very interesting, knows a lot of things about ecosystem, birds, fish and history of Algarve. We had a memorable trip. Good lunch at A Do Juan Restaurant (we recommand the tuna steak which is huge for 1 people and so good). Thanks again Pedro for your kindness, all your explanations and to have found 2 chamaleons on the Desert Island! If you are looking for a nice boat trip, do not hesitate, Pedro is your guy ! (And guide) ;-) Nas próximas Pedro. Monia & Nicolas

The best decision we could have made was booking this tour! Pedro was absolutely brilliant, very passionate, and knowledgable about the area. He took his time to talk us through the variety of wildlife on the islands as help us spot some of the species. He was also very flexible with the structure of the tour and was happy to customise it if we would like to stay longer at a particular location. Great to find out about all the research his team is doing! Would definitely come back for the dolphin tour.

It was an incredible tour ! Very interesting information about the nature and the animals. The islands were beautiful and a nice feature to our Portugal vacation. The guide was very kind and had a lot of knowledge about the area. We would definantly do this tour again.

Great trip. Saw chameleons on the first island which was a highlight for the whole family. The second island also really interesting to visit. Alfredo gave us lots of information about the Ria Formosa and it's wildlife. Fantastic company, highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, Alfredo our guide had such good knowledge of all the local wildlife, nature and he was really passionate about all of it which made the trip so much more interesting. Not only that, but the family who were on the trip with me were french, so he was giving us the tour fluently in both french AND english, neither of which being his first language! Super impressive. A very fascinating trip and stopping off in both locations was really cool, thoroughly recommended - You wont be disappointed!

The tour was interesting and Pedro was very knowledgable. He gave us a history of the area and information on the wildlife and birds that we saw. He was very helpful. The contrast of the 2 islands was interesting. A good tour.
