This really is a treasure out in the middle of Scotland's woods. For those worried that it is a big deal to get there .. it's not. Baron, our guide, picked us up in his minibus and we drove for maybe 20-30 minutes to get to this part of the woods (which would have been difficult to find on our own had we even had the courage to drive in Scotland). It's a very short walk to the top of the Pulpit; Baron gave us a great overview of the area and its history before we began venturing down the steps into the Pulpit itself. Yes, it's a little steep and wet, but very doable. When we got to the bottom, we had to choose whether we wanted to walk in the water (up to our thighs) for about 50 yards or so to see the waterfall, and honestly it was just too darn cold so we decided not to. :( Maybe if we come back in the summer. It was a fun morning and I appreciated seeing something off the beaten tourist track. On our way back, Baron dropped us off at the Glasgow Cathedral - a beautiful historical site, which was just a 20-30 minute easy walk back towards Glasgow Central. I enjoyed getting out of the city for a few hours; it was a nice morning and Baron was a wonderful guide.

Such a fun and beautiful excursion! Pros - stunning nature - cool unique spot When we went it was VERY muddy and slippery so be prepared! The path down is somewhat dangerous with missing steps and uneven rocks. Our group chose not to get into the freezing water which was totally fine!

We did this excursion in a cold month and for the reason of likely having few participants other than ourselves; we were spot on. There were two of us and we had a great time exploring the Devils Pulpit. We were given time to take pictures, our guide took pictures for us with our phone, and we were given opportunity to ask questions. The trip was instructed with great safety. Ferenac does drive fast but I never felt endangered and was happy for prompt transport. He even dropped us off at Gllascow Chapel and Necropolis on the way back to the meeting point. We would definitely take this adventure again. Thanks!!!

Great tour guide, but this trip is not worth 100€. Barely hike and could have done the same trip independently for way less.

Awesome hike, not so far from City Centre. Tour guide was friendly and very clear about which path to cross. Without tour guide, it would be easy to get injured if you don’t know the area. The scenery is breathtaking and worth the hike, however I did not cross the river as it was too cold and didn’t have the right clothes. So if you want to cross the river, keep in mind to wear the right clothes (gloves too, as you will be grabbing thing climbing down). Overall, a really nice experience and would go again!

Ferenc was detailed and high spirited making the trip very fun! He was also highly focused on the safety of customers he guided through the glen. He was wonderful with suggesting things to do in local area and even took the initiative to have us pose for pictures in many spots he knew were great for photos. We highly suggest this trip!
