I don't recommend this tour unless you're already staying in Florence. Taking this trip from Venice is very challenging since there is no one you can reach out to from the tour company for issues since it requires a 2 hour train ride, which is hours before the tour agency office opens... and then add the language barrier. We had to take a 2 hour train ride from Venice and then once in Florence take a taxi to the "tour meeting point". The tour agency did not provide an address to the place that was the meeting point, only the name of a restaurant and a street that it was on. I showed the taxi the directions that we received from the tour company and the taxi took us to where he understood it to be. There was no one there and we couldn't get a hold of the tour company... once we finally got a hold of them and explained where we were, they said we were in the opposite side of the city. Needless to say, we missed half of the first portion of the tour (city walking tour). After the city tour there was an hour break before the second portion of the tour. We showed up early to the next meeting place (in front of a museum) and after waiting over 30 mins I called the tour company and they said that there was no tour scheduled for that time, that it must of been a mistake in the booking and they offered to refund the money. They only refunded $40 out of the couple hundreds of dollars that it cost to book this tour. Since the second portion of the tour was cancelled we had to take another taxi back to the train station and pay to change our train ticket for an earlier time since it was originally scheduled for nighttime (about 4 hours later) so that added to the expenses. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND THE MONEY!

Good tour guide. Thought the tour was longer than it was to be honest so was a little disappointed in this.
