    We got out of the city for a morning to see the largest bats in Australia. There were tons of them and Dave gave us reflex cameras to have great memories from the experience!

    Great experience; saw many bats in the trees and flying. The guide is knowledgeable, informative and enjoyable to talk with. He also takes great photos of the bats and attendees he shares with you at no cost. Tons of bats!!!

    went with my 11yr old and we had a wonderful time seeing & learning about the bats. there are so many bats! dave is very knowledge and fun, highly recommend you book this tour with Perfect Day Sydney!

    Dave is an amazing tour guide who knows where to find wildlife. This small tour (11 I believe) took us to see a massive colony of giant bats that were surprisingly active in the middle of the day. They were interacting with each other and making lots of noise. Occasionally some flew through the sky, truly a site to behold with their massive wingspan. Dave provided us with lots of interesting facts and fielded questions in knowledgeable manner. He had snacks and drinks for us. After the tour he offered to drop us off where we wanted or back at the hotel. This is an excellent tour and a fascinating way to spend a few hours. Thanks for another perfect day!

    We had fantastic views of hundreds of this native Australian animal and got to drive over the Sydney Harbour bridge to get there. Dave was fantastic. Emma, John and Samantha

    What to expect

    Sydney

    Our Guide will meet you near Circular Quay and drive you to the Sydney reserve where the bat colony resides. You will learn all about the endemic fruit bat, its importance (also know as flying foxes) and explain why they are endangered, sharing some interesting facts. Whilst you get to meet these Ozzie critters at eye-level, you'll also have the opportunity to use our high-zoom cameras and capture the smallest detail.
